Skooch over, Deadly Oats, got another one to toss onto the couch.

(And they all seem to be Trump supporters, for some odd reason...)

You really did just score a massive win with this one. That'll show them.

Second LOWEST rated Oscars in many years ....irrelevant; Can't even get the small things right.

Trump isn't good with criticism ...the press is equally juvenile; Obama has Trump beat when it comes to lies.

The record, btw, was 21.7, the year we sat on the edge of our seats wondering whether Michael Keaton in Alejandro Inarritu's "Birdman" would squeak out a surprise victory over Richard Linklater's bold lifelong directorial stunt in "Boyhood", even despite a possible last-minute dark-horse upset by "Selma", "The Imitation Game", or "The Grand Budapest Hotel"...
(Y'know, as in, "Even the people who liked La La Land didn't actually like it that much.")

"Spotlight" and Chris Rock had a...little better ratings the next year because of the big beefed-up fan-whine about the black films, but if we hadn't been such Golden Globes-worshipping Oscar-prediction fanboys, and said "Who cares if those kissup-publicist Globes couldn't nominate 'Inside Out' for Best Comedy/Musical because of some ancient rule-loophole; these are OUR awards, dammit, and it's STILL the Best Picture of 2015!", we'd be talking about much better ratings numbers.
But because of the Oscars we have today, that didn't happen.

(I did blog on the reason why, http://movieactivist.blogspot.com/2017/02/february-27-2017-who-killed-oscars.html , but being the lone Voice in the Wilderness, it doesn't usually get noticed...Oh, well, anyone want a Honey-roast Locust? )

So you're saying Trump is on the same level as people who give awards to movies of which they have only seen a fraction of? I mean, I get the comparison I just don't see how that makes a compelling defense.
