I loved the game. The combat system isn't as good as Witcher 3, but is still very enjoyable. The story and the quest system are great, and the graphics are fabulous.

Can't wait for the sequel.

So I'm close to about 19 hours into the game, and I finally set foot into Meridian, lol. Just hit level 24. I need to start putting more time into this game, instead of Destiny. I need to finish this story, but with all the side quest, I kind of forgot about the main story line, lol.

This game was epic for me and honestly the first game I've Platinumed on the PS4, I cannot wait to see how the series evolves from here.

I'm just two trophies short of platinum at about 94 hours. Lots of fun.

And it's finished. Great game, that's it. Nothing bad to say. It's not too hard nor too easy. The combat system, the enemies, exploring... just awesome.

The final battle was challenging, even with the max level, the Shield-Weaver Outfit and so on. It's you (and any possible allies you managed to recruit) vs Deathbringer and few waves of reinforcements. The only reason this battle tough is because of the time limit. I managed to pass it on my 2nd attempt. The good news? Should you fail, and you managed to deplete it's health to halfway, you start from that instead of going all the way back.

Another enemy i really hate are the Glinthawks. Killing them is pain since they keep flying and dropping ice bombs.

*Ahem* Putting them aside, i really enjoyed the game. Even hunting the collectibles was fun, for the most part. It should be noted that i collected trophy related ones, although i did collect most of other ones. Maybe someday collect the rest of them.

Final results: Every quest, manual, errand and such, done. Game completed/all the trophies collected in 57 hours. Game completion: 93.5%.

Anything else? Guerrilla Games, fantastic job. This is most likely going to be my Game of the Year choice, at least in it's own category.

Awesome game- maybe my goty. The world feels massive and alive, as well as god damn beautiful. Characters feel fleshed out, even the minor ones, and they actually seem like they belong in a harsh, wild world- so far I don't think I've come across any pretty doll characters that look like they spend more time tending to their makeup than they do hunting.

Couldn't agree more! Pretty awesome game. Finished it but there are still some side quests I have to complete but tbh I have never got bored of that game and probably can play it again lol

It fails me that i forgot to write something. While playing the game, i came across some errors.

The first one, somewhat uncommon. While exploring the world, i noticed that some of the plants are uncollectable simply because they're under the rock, etc. Even with the patches, it happens at times.

Then another one. This occurred to me during the late-game. Near the GAIA Prime, you'll come across one Thunderbird. What hapenned was that if i climbed high enough and fell a bit, i got stuck in nothing. That's it. I could't jump off, the only to get off was to get killed or reload the save.

For those who aren't already aware, a Horizon story expansion DLC was announced at the Playstation Conference and will release this year.

So i finally did it, New Game+ on Ultra Hard. After waiting the trophy guide for that, i decided it was finally time to tackle this challenge.

Was it hard? Actually no, considering my level was 50 and i had Shield Weaver (strangely, it carries over). It's still not too easy. One hit from an arrow or tail sweep from Watcher is enough to drain your shield completely.

In total, it took 15 hours to get this run done. The reason is because i spent a lot of time gathering incredients for Fire Arrows, Bombs and so. They came in handy in many sections.

Here's the list of parts i had the hard time:

The Mountain That Fell: When climbing that mountain, there are total of three sections of enemies. The first part (Watchers and Stalkers) isn't too hard to avoid. The second part (Watchers, Ravagers and Glinthawks) is where the shit really hits the fan. Getting past this part without having to fight/dying is hard. The last part with Thunderbird was easy since you don't have to fight it anyway.

The Looming Shadow (final mission): Two sections here.

1. The part where you have to kill lot of machines was hell, especially the part with Thunderbird and Deathbringer at the same time. It drained quite a lot of medicine i've collected.

2. The final battle. The time limit is pain but what's even more pain? Reinforcements! Especially since they can sometimes kill you instantly, even at full health. That happened once.

At least it's done. Credits goes to this: https://www.playstationtrophies.org/game/horizon-zero-dawn/trophy/183559-Ultra-Hard-Completed.html

I have been big on getting Platinums recently and I hate looking at PSNprofiles and seeing HZD no longer at 100%. I might have to go for those trophies. The game is excellent. It took me about 90 hours to get the Platinum. I played on Normal difficulty and the only part I had trouble with were the end bosses in the Cauldrons before I git the shield weaver armor. Once I got the Shield Weaver Armor I felt OP. The final battle was no problem.
