I'm latina. I'm able to tan and burn. I have gotten badly burnt before, but I also tan so i guess it's a 50/50 chance that I'll either burn or tan lol

1: Both pools and beaches are cool! I'll have to say pools tho.. I don't like feeling seaweed while I swim or the feeling of hot sand. I also don't like salty water.. luckily the beaches around me are next to freshwater!

2: I like thunderstorms!

Yeah, I tan pretty well.

Bonus Questions:

1. I prefer going to the pool.

2. I like the warmer weather....as long as it's not too hot.

We have a while until summer gets here but I was just wondering something. Do you tan well? And no I am not asking if you like to tan or anything like that. I am just asking if you tan well or not. Is the sun kind to your skin or harsh?

Bonus Questions:

1. On a hot summer's day, do you prefer the beach or the pool?

2. What is one thing you actually like about the summer season?

As a child I used to only burn... badly. I've even had to go to the hospital once, and they said the damage level was 3rd degree. How does that even happen? I was always taught sunburn only reaches 2nd degree!

Now I can't seem to burn. I tan quick and hold the tan for a long time. Is it the Native American genes finally kicking in?

I've been indoors a lot in the past year or so. Right now I'd say my skin is as pale as Titanium White.

I prefer a pool since you don't have any chance of stepping on seaweed there and these days that's my only option. My dark skin gets darker in the summer which looks great. Bro complained that I was so pale in the winter but I pointed out to him that he'd just spent his winter in a warm country in the sun tanning away so of course I'd look pale in comparison. Having lived in in the tropics before I'd learnt to respect the sun and know when it's time to get out of it. Once only once did I manage to get sun burnt on my nose when we camped out on the beach for a weekend. That annoyingly itchy skin peeling time is not to be repeated. I'm allergic to sun tan lotion. I rely on my dark skin and being sensible to not get burnt.

I tan easily, but I also lose a tan quickly. I don't burn usually.

I prefer a pool if I go swimming, but I love being at and relaxing by the ocean.

I love almost everything about summer, except the bugs when it is muggy, and excess beach traffic.

I fry easily and end up the same color as a lobster. The sun hates me. Sunscreen is a must.

1. I prefer the beach. I can collect shells or wrap myself in my huge beach towel so that the sun can't fry me and sleep on the sand.

2. I like not being cold, being able to do things outside without hating it, and having bonfires.

Nobody tans well, since there's no such thing as a healthy tan. It's basically a form of self-abuse for your skin.

No, though skin cancer sure sucked the life out of my dad, and my dad out of my life.

Nothing good comes from tanning. You know, it's called tanning because it makes your skin less like skin and more like leather

No, I burn pretty easily in the sun without sunblocker as soon as there is spring. I'm not even that pale so I dunno why
