I don't tan, I bleach. Like a sock left hanging on the clothesline for a week- I only get whiter.

Do you tan well?
No, I tend to fry.

1. On a hot summer's day, do you prefer the beach or the pool?
When it's sunny, I like pools, minus the occasional wasp that likes to hang out at the water. I don't like the biting flies at beaches on those days, and the general lack of shade. I greatly favor beaches when it's overcast, early morning, and in the evening. Bonus points when it's windy.

2. What is one thing you actually like about the summer season?
Overcast, windy days feel divine. Also, I like seeing the blooming flowers and insects.

Yes, I can tan well. I can sunburn too.

BQ:
1. The beach.
2. I like how the summer skies look, especially sunsets. It paints a pretty picture in the sky.

I burn if I'm out of the sun for too long.

But people told me I had a nice "glow" when I was hitting the pool every other day last summer.

I don't know if I tan well and more importantly don't want to find out. I don't like the look of tans very much and don't want to find out what I look like in one
For the other questions
1. Beach. I don't like being around large pools of water in general but I'd much rather take the beach over a pool. Who knows how many people have pissed in there? Also they smell like chlorine.
2. I like the feeling of turning on a fan or something after being outside or more often near a window for a while. Feels real good considering summers here are well over 100 degrees. When they're not over 110.

I tan pretty well, nice olive colour.

Prefer the beach, love to lie in the hot sand. Though hot tiles around a pool work too, but waves are fun and I love the sound and the feeling of being in nature.

Summer is great, fishing, swimming, barbeques, beers, ice cream, long days. That said, I enjoy winter too. I just don't like spring or autumn. Allergies suck.

Living in New Zealand we have to be pretty careful with the sun as the ozone hole is near enough to us to make a difference. To the point that if you don't use sunscreen you can actually feel the sun burning you after a little while.

when I go to the beach I smell bacon because I am so pale. I live in Florida and the UV index rises very quickly here. So right when it is warm enough not to be wearing heavy clothing the UV index is already really strong. Yet, after I burn the first time, I tan after that. always a slight burn then tan.

I am a First Nations of the land mass the white folk in their ignorance or outright disdain decided to call North America . I have a permanent tan, my skin is always a nice healthy shade.

1. On a hot summer's day, do you prefer the beach or the pool?
The beach, much more eye candy and pool water is way too warm for my tastes. Not to mention all that chemical shit can not be good for you.

2. What is one thing you actually like about the summer season?

Boy and girls in their summer clothes, hot nights with hotter people. Riding those trails with my bike, the feel of a cool breeze on a hot day. Really I love it all..Well minus all the tourists I suppose . But hey it's the price you pay for living in the most beautiful city on the planet.

I've been compared to a highlighter and I reflect the sun, not vice versa.

I tan enough to get a visible line from where my T-Shirt sleeve stops, most people think I'm ethnic until I show them how white I am under my shirt.
I cant stand summer, but pool is better because I have one in my backyard and I don't like getting sandy.
Honestly prefer winter because where I live it still stays pretty warm and I like being comfy in jeans.

Nope. I just got back from a holiday in Vanuatu. This is the result of 15 minutes of "tanning". Did I do it right? :D

yeah i tan pretty well. I'm lucky enough to be half Mexican so i can easily tan without burning. I wished i lived by the beach tho, the only thing we have close to that is like a 2 hour drive here, so i settle for the pool. And i would have to say hanging out and cooking during the summer by the pool would have to be my go to thing, plus the light stays out till like 9 here in MO.
