So basically, when I try to watch an anime, it wont load. The part where is should be playing the video is the same colour as the background, and nothing is working. What is happening?

I'm having the same issue, too. The site pages are loading really slowly for me, as well, compared to usual and to other sites right now, so maybe they're doing maintenance/ having server issues?

I am having this issue as well. My videos won't load no matter how many times I refresh. Not sure what the problem is but the site overall seems a bit sluggish at the moment.

Yep. I can confirm this as well. Grey (or gray) screen, no video.

What I have tried at 8:13 PM Central Time:

- Three different browsers (no plug-ins or add-ons). Chrome (latest public release), Firefox (latest public release), MS Edge all on Windows 10.
- Refresh (F5) didn't solve the problem.
- All plug-ins or add-ons are off (no Ad Blockers, etc.).

What did work:

- The CR App on my iPad. Videos played fine.
- Roku 3. Videos played fine.

Yes, I know the videos for the iOS app and Roku app are from different CDNs than the web site. Just posting it to confirm that not all of CR's systems are down. Also, as others have mentioned, the entire site is sluggish.

Yes, I have a good home network. Yes, it's running fine (WiFi, Modem, etc.).

Same thing happened to me. No video just grey background. I cleared my browser's history in both Firefox and Explorer/Edge and the video won't play. Tried resetting the modem. Videos still won't play, and I get a grey background. I have to let the window, tab sit for an hour. Sometimes the video box comes up but it freezes and nothing else happens. I refresh the page and I'm back to a white background.

My Internet is one the top packages you can get with Comcast. And none of the other websites like Youtube, Hulu or Netflix is giving me a problem.

Also the Android App also is giving me an error "There was a problem playing the video, please try again or contact support if the problem persists."

If you wait long enough it might play. Just read that Amazon servers had a big outage, though they say its up, this might be a side effect from that possible. But one does have to wait like 15 minutes for it to run lol. Hope this gets fixed. Also hope they give us a credit on prem time for this too.
