Meh those kind of over done places aren't my thing. Rain forests are not my thing, all that bug life and picking leeches off ya gets old. And I don't know how anyone stands the humidity and heat in your average rain forest . I always feel like my clothes are rotting by the second when I am in them.

I've been to a few.
My graduate school had a small Japanese garden tucked into an out of the way part of campus, no one ever went there so it was a quiet relaxing place.
Chicago has one, left over from the 1896 world's fair, but it's more like a park with Japanese seasoning than a real Japanese garden.
Portland's is nice, and San Francisco's is really great.

I don't think they would put leeches in there! Sometimes I see animals and plant life I've never seen before so I think that's cool. I'll have to find out when I get there.
