I was a bit of a weeaboo when I was 14-16. Ashamed and embarrassed about that now, but glad I grew out of it.

I went through a phase where I thought I was emo but I was really just a wanna be social rebel. But I wasn't even that, I was just quiet and strange. And my fashion sense was trash.

Middle school in general makes me cringe to think about.

I was also a huge weeaboo.

I used to think I knew everything, and I was quite a snot. Now I'm pretty humble, but I actually do know everything. I'm pretty much Hanekawa, now that I think about it.

But you know LaTeX now, so it's fine.

I went through a phase where I wore cat ears to school and had this glamorized idea of getting bullied and ofc I ended up being bullied. I didn't do it because I wanted to be bullied but because I was insecure about birth complications that I had been bullied for in the past and I wanted to draw attention away from that. and I wore those ears on a class photo so it's like made eternal now and it's something I'd have rather not have happened at all.

You know that thing that happened in 2007-8 with the north american anime community, where people would scatter random japanese nouns everywhere and caramelldansen was popular and stuff? And you had clothing and accessories with anime something on it?

I'm very ashamed to have gone through that, even as inevitable as it is to be an embarrassing middle schooler.

I was a punk rocker (dressed like an idiot, too) in my teens but I don't really regret it.

Part of the attitude is still in me.

As with a lot of people on this thread, I would say my...weeaboo phase. For me, that was between 12-14. I was obsessed with Vocaloid, and watched some of the popular anime back then: Fullmetal Alchemist, Black Butler, Ouran High School Host Club, etc. Of course now I think the only things that have changed are my interests. But I would say they aren't as cringe-y as back then.

I had my weeb phase when I was 15-16. Thinking about it makes me feel... really bad. And before that, I used to have this weird hyperactive, kind of arrogant side when I was younger (although I was a quiet kid so I was able to at least make it look like I don't think so highly of myself). They're painful to think about and I wish no one in school remembers me anymore.

I had a phase where I only wore pink and/or sparkly clothes. I don't have anything against those patterns, it just doesn't work for a whole outfit

I was an angsty, emo, scene kid, through middle school and part of highschool, but I wasn't "valid" in the scene community in my school because I never wore makeup. I got the weird, parted fringe and the crazy colored/patterned skinny jeans right, though. And an arm full of beaded bracelets.

I was also a little shit who would try to start fights, and would back sass the teachers. I was also one of those kids who screamed whenever I saw my friends in the hallway. I'm so different now. I'm like fragile.... So much so, that when people yell at me, I cry. I dunno what's cringier. Me then, or me now.
