Yes that's right, apparently he used his private email to conduct state business. Even going as far to discuss matters that were sensitive to security.

What a heinous crime. The highest of magnitude as far as government officials go.

But I bet he didn't have emails about using sperm in devil worship!
/sarcasm
Weren't trump supporters accusing Hillary of doing that? Something about satanic rituals and sperm?

I think these types of cases are very important to consider regardless of candidates. Hopefully people will recognize it as such more than personal political ammo.

The real sad part is Trump supporters will come out and defend this. Literally, everything Trump has accused anyone of doing he or someone he has appointed have likely done on a much larger scale.

Republicans need to stop playing partisan politics and grind down to the truth of this whole Russian scandal. These deep ties to Russia are beyond concerning.

I'm beginning to wonder if the average supporter of (insert political side here) has bothered to talk to supporters of (insert opposing side here) in the last, say, five years. Brownie points if offline.

Isnt it in the state of Indiana, its legal to do so? I thought that public officials are not barred from using personal email accounts under Indiana law as long as it complies to the public records law?

As I said in the Trump thread:
How many of his emails were classified or top secret?

You can't compare a governors emails to those of the Secretary of State

From what I understand, it is legal. What he did isn't a criminal offense, merely very hypocritical.

According to the article...

Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb's office released 29 pages of emails from Pence's AOL account, but declined to release an unspecified number of others because the state considers them confidential and too sensitive to release to the public.

So we don't know how much was classified, just that some of it was.

The joke/point is that Pence was vocally criticizing Hilary for her attitude towards cyber security (along with a bunch of supporters), when his own behavior wasn't really any better, and was in fact hacked himself a couple months later. Rather hypocritical of him. Otherwise, this probably wouldn't be as big a deal.

Sadly this is the vast majority of people these days. Everyone has closed their ears and opened their mouths. If people were willing to actually communicate, things like this and other issues wouldn't be so heavily defended simply for the sake of showing support for their party. Everyone has bias, it's hard not to be. Some people just take it to the extreme though. I have family members on both sides of the fence who argue daily and making no progress because people aren't willing to hear each other and get hateful. I have actually lost a good chunk of my family over politics the last few months and it is quite sad. You see a side of people you never thought existed simply because they are so blinded by their political parties that they are not also willing to admit a counter point is right or that there is flaws.
