Was wondering how you disable autoplay on the PS4. I Watch shows while laying in bed and end up falling asleep. It's always bothersome the next day and try to figure out which episode I left off at. Thanks for the help.

Same question, but using Roku player. There seems to be no option to disable Auto Play of the next episode.

I really don't like this feature. Why isn't there an option to disable it, like there is on the PC player?

As far as I know you can't, you could however set your power save settings to power off after an hour of inactivity.

Look into the Roku player's built in sleep timer or auto power off settings. I don't own a Roku so I don't know if such settings exist or where they may be if they did.

Being able to toggle autoplay is handy, if you wanted this feature to be added you could open up a thread in the suggestions section and see where it goes from there. I'd recommend checking if one already exists for each corresponding device prior to creation.

It's very possible that video playback counts as "activity" even if you don't interact with the console. I believe this is the case with Xbox, but I don't use my PS4 for much media, so I'm not sure.

I'm not sure if the timer starts after the last button press or upon the controller turning off (because I turn off the controller after the last button press), but as long as you don't use the controller the PS4 considers you to be inactive even during media playback (works for sure with CR and DVD/BD).
