I feel about the same about English language dubs as most people might feel about having major surgery performed by wolves the size of small planets.

I will first watch in subs and if I'm doing something else or want to experience the dubbed version I will.

No, because it's a foreign language to me, like Japanese.

I like english dubs because I'm a multi-tasker, and I like to get stuff done while I'm watching anime. With subs I have to actually sit down and stare at the screen to really follow what's going on with the story. I'm fine watching either though.

Dubbed or Japanese doesn't really bother me at all, but I would rather watch Japanese

In every case, it ranges from "what the fuck is this cancer?" to "it's not bad but I prefer the original audio". Most cases sit around the level of cringe-inducing Eng dub.

Generally I stick with the sub, but that is not to say that I will skip a good dub. It's just that most of them suck.
Funny how anime dubbing is taken far less seriously (or, rather, done less professionally) than cartoons on primetime. It could depend on number of factors, like how passionate the ADR director is.

if I have not seen something in the Japanese language with English subs then I am usually ok with it. however, if it is something I have seen subbed previous to hearing the English voice overs, it almost always grates on me like no tomorrow.
cowboy bebop and samurai champloo not withstanding. I can do either or for both.

I watch more anime subbed but mostly muted because I find many of the Japanese voices annoying. However, I prefer hearing an English dub.

Depends, some dubs fit the anime better than the subs. As long as I haven't been listening to one for too long, though, I'm usually fine with the other.

I personally do. If an anime has an English dub to it, I will usually only watch the dub of it except for a few cases.
