Pats fan here, so I've got a couple more months of riding high before I start worrying too much about next season.

I'm a 49er fan.

We suck right now. But we got a new GM, a new head coach, cap space to burn, and the second pick in the draft this year. So some big changes are coming which is exciting, but I don't hold out much hope for next year. We are seriously one of the least talented teams in the league. We need talent everywhere. QB, WR, OL, DE, LB. Everywhere. I'm not really a big fan of any of the QBs in this draft. I think Mahomes could be special, but that air raid offense he comes from has yet to produce one decent NFL QB. I'm hoping we can trade back from the second pick and maybe pick up an extra first round pick next year. That QB class is STACKED.

As for free agency, I'm hoping we pick up Alshon Jeffrey from the bears(who we should have drafted instead of AJ Jenkins that year), but I'm guessing he'll choose to goto a contender. He should have plenty of suitors. Realistically I think we'll end up with Pierre Garcon from the redskins instead, who isn't a bad consolation prize, but he's already 30. He had the best year of his career playing with Shanahan (113 catches for 1346 yards), and I think he'll want to recapture some of that magic in SF especially when he sees those $$$$. We could also use some help on D. Bowman's torn his achilles, and our other LBs are trash so Hightower will probably be a target for us. Maybe Nick Perry from Greenbay as well. We desperately need help on the edge.

I'm a New Orleans Saints fan myself. It appears our teams our division rivals Also Julio is a beast.

They need A LOT of work on defense. My was it atrocious this year, especially the secondary.

I have a feeling the Saints are gonna finish in the middle of the pack again this year. I think they'll have a tough time trying to win their division considering how the Falcons, Panthers, and Buccaneers are all pretty good teams.

Anyways, I think the Saints need to draft towards their defense, primarily their secondary. Also drafting a quarterback to learn under Brees would be a good idea.

PJ Williams should be back with a hopefully healthy Breaux, pass rush, pass rush, pass rush... any secondary will look bad when you can barely get 30 team sacks in a season. Guard and Corner comes right after, but you rarely find a decent pass rusher outside the first round.

Solomon Thomas
TJ Watt
Forrest Lamp
Zay Jones
Nico Siragusa

...just a few names I'm keeping my eye on

Steelers fan, I'd like to see the team pick up a solid DB, but I say that every year.

incidently the last team to lose a super bowl and make it back the following year was the Buffalo Bills.

Some good signings yesterday. We should have a resolution on Cooks later today.

Aggressively filling needs in FA as always it seems... If they manage to pick up Butler for Cooks that would just leave edge rusher left on the checklist.

Might need a safety, too, with Byrd designated for a June 1 release and Vaccaro going into the last year if his deal (if not extended).

Raiders fan here! We need some explosive players on defense and Adrian Peterson would be a very nice addition

NY Giants. Excited about the Brandon Marshall deal - the outside is now in balance. But still need help on the offensive line. Manning could use a little more time in the pocket. OG in 6th round at best.

Very true, I forgot about Vaccaro's status.

The depth at safety is already lacking. I just hope they don't decide to fill that need at 11. They've dragged their feet for far too long when it comes to finding a proper replacement at 9-tech. I like Kikaha's motor, but we still don't know what they have in him. Maybe he can fit that role, but even then depth there is killing them.

I feel like he and Romo could have both had far better careers if they weren't taking such a beating all the time. I don't know how they even survive lol. I was at their Manning Passing Academy a few years ago at NSU and standing next to them I was amazed that they don't simply break when hit by a 300lb lineman. Their limbs were like noodles compared to mine at the time.

QB resiliency shouldn't be relied on so much
Several here at work are in mourning over Romo...

Resiliency certainly seems to be the exception which is why I always scratch my head when teams don't build their offense around their OL.
