I had the same problem. I contacted support for both and all they did to fix it was give me a 7 day credit for crunchyroll premium. which all that does is temporarily fix the problem. I'm wondering if the issue is that vrv hasn't charged me yet despite on the app it saying that my payment date was the 4th??? It's all really frustrating bc I really wanna love vrv but what's the point of linking an account if I can't still use the apps like was stated in the email. I even copy and pasted this to crunchyroll when support emailed me back...


Linking your account means that you will have all Crunchyroll Premium streaming benefits (simulcast, ad-free and HD viewing) on both VRV and Crunchyroll’s existing apps/website, as well as all additional Crunchyroll Premium benefits like manga app access, discounts in the Crunchyroll Store, convention perks, and more.

So I got it back by talking to support, but I feel like this is a temporary fix because in my account settings it says I got the premium as a Gift from crunchybot, its not recurring, and it expires on March 24, 2017. Basically a two week trial.

Mine also says it would of charged me on the 2nd of mach, but it hasn't charged me yet.

In the VRV website it still says that my linked crunchyroll account is still not premium.

So I guess if you guys want a temporary fix contact VRV support? I say VRV support because I initially talked to crunchyroll support, but they transferred me to VRV support.

Although I can't seem to find a link/website to contact VRV support directly.

mine says on VRV that it is premium but it is not on CR, the VRV app is garbage btw, horrendous to navigate

I contacted crunchyroll again and they said that it should be fine after the 7 day premium. Apparently there were issues linking some accounts but we'll see....

I lost it as well, but it appears to be on the VRV side of the house as it is not providing me with premium benefits even on their applications. Even though their own website says I have the combo package and has a date for my next payment. VRV's support is almost non-existent as well to help fix any of these issues with merely as support bot request feature and no actual contact available or forums to use.

If this continues I am just going to cancel my vrv and stick to CR. I am losing funimation and rooster teeth but I use crunchyroll 98% of the time and I am not liking my VRV player controls.

I'm having the same problem. It shows I'm subscribed to the bundle, but both apps say I don't have premium. This sucks, maybe I'll just cancel VRV and subscribe to Crunchyroll and Funimation separate.

OK this has got me all mad now, i am not near my PS4 and my phone is dead but my laptop works just fine. Now i find that VRV is not available over the web! SERIOUSLY!! CR started on the web before it got an app.

VRV will likely add web playback support once the CR HTML5 video player leaves beta status.

Well that would be great if my VRV would work. Now it is not even letting me watch premium content. It tells me to upgrade my account to premium so I click the link but it tells me I already have premium status, but when I go back to the video, it asks me to get premium first to watch video I am already pissed at this system.

So my premium is a temporary fix, support said. I got a two week premium as a gift from the VRV support until they can fix all of this.

but now I seem to have lost premium in VRV as well.

in my case in the home page of VRV it says that I should try out the combo pack and buy it, but in the settings it says I have it already. I did buy the combo pack before all of this happened btw. So when I play videos on VRV it gives me ads and all of that.

nothing to do now, but wait really . If you haven't already talked to VRV support I suggest you do so you at least get access to crunchyroll premium for a while.

So I finally got it fixed. Customer support think it's a bug in the free trail. I had to cancel my vrv membership then resub and that fixed it. I still don't have premium on the crunchyroll roll app though.

Yup trial bug so all my shit back to premium. But i better not get charged cuz that shit was a nightmare...
