I love a variety of anime, but dragon ball was kinda my 'gateway drug' to anime.. and especially the new arc in DBS ( Universal Survival Arc) I really want to watch it here (the hype is real), I know for a fact that crunchryroll simulcast this in the US but why not here in Britain.. Really want to watch here! Im probably guessing some copyright issues but doesnt funimation owns the rights and Im sure both CC and Funi are collaborating..? Anyways I doubt it will happen, I'm 16, so im quite reluctant to buy daisuki's monthy subscription xD need them ramen noodles..

Licensing bs that I'm sure someone else will be able to explain better than I could. I'm going to go out on a limb and guess it was the best deal they could get within their budget, but I don't know. I won't pretend to know how it all works. In any case, I don't know if CR and Funimation collaborating changes anything where DBS is concerned, as I'm pretty sure it's region locked on Funimation, too.

Daisuki is pretty much free. I think they have a few Gundam series you need to pay for and Long Riders was a week behind for free users but most stuff is the exact same. Even with ads they say "less ads" not "ad free" (since I'm fine with being a free user there I couldn't tell you how many they have though) so you should look into Daisuki.
