One of the annoying points of discussion for me when it comes to movies/tv shows/anime/video games is whether or not a show is faithful to the source material. The reason I hate this discussion is because no matter what how good or bad the show/movie/ game is it will inevitably be bogged down by fanboy/purists who will refuse to except anything that isn't exact like what they saw/read in the original even if the changes made improves on the original (Usagi Drop), creates something completely different from the original while still being objectively good (South Park: Stick Of Truth) or are mostly inconsequential (Aku No Hana/The Flowers of Evil). Me personally i've always felt movies/tv show/games based off off licesed products should be judged as their own things so my question is are you capable of separating media from source material and what are some examples of good licenced product media that wasn't entirely faithful to the source material.
