So I'm pretty new here on Cr and don't know very much about anything here (anime included). Right know I am wondering what the simulcast thing means. Answers are super apreciated :)
Thx

For most shows that air in Japan, it means they will generally be available here within an hour afterwards. However, that is not going to be true 100% of the time, but it will be more true with a web browser player than the remainder of the (/devices) ways to watch, because encoding subtitles to multiple resolution files, in multiple languages, in multiple video formats for all the devices, including the Win-10 universal app takes more time. According to the FAQ, as much as 7 hours should be allowed for devices. But typically, it's not usually more than another hour later.

For occasional shows, it may sometimes not be the same day, though. Not all shows air in Japan across all networks on the same day. They may have multiple dates, and CR has to follow the license terms of whichever broadcaster was on the production committee. This can sometimes mean a day, three days, or even a full week later, although I have not seen too many of the last example of late.

Simulcast is a portmanteau of "Simultaneous" and "Broadcast".
