I think not. There is a significant difference between interacting and watching. Some will still enjoy just watching, and most will want to watch at least part of the time.
Another point to consider is the level of interaction. Can you view the scene from different angles but change nothing? Is it a 3D VR Visual Novel? Somewhere in between those two (full interaction, but a set story; I'm thinking Calypso's island from Percy Jackson for those who get the reference). A full fledged Game?
As an aside, games are the perfect example of why I think you aren't entirely correct. Games are basically interactive movies, yet there are still movies. Granted, quality of story/acting/etc. is different, which could explain it. But I still think people would watch and play if all of these factors were the same for a game as for a movie.

1. Japan gives zero fucks about current modern western feminism
2. Implying a good chunk of anime isn't streamed illegally
3. First Amendment. Where heading... places... as a country but it still holds strong for now
4. In an argument/confrontation between modern western feminists and Anime watchers, I'd pick anime watchers

And finally, to answer the OP, anime may evolve (see response one) but I don't think it will ever fully die, even in the plain watch on a 2D screen way.
