Hmm, on one hand I'm an aquaphobic and can't swim.

On the other hand, if I openly talked about believing in mountains then I may be recommended for indefinite detention, and who knows how long that could take.

I'm gonna have to go with plain ol' flat desert nothingness.

Probably mountain cause the ocean scares the fuck outta me.

And mountains, all I can think of is some type of ghost. It's an Asian thing...

Both - That's why I liked the Washington State Puget Sound area so much. 45 minute drive and you're in serous no-shit mountains, but you can hang out on the sound and get the best seafood on the way to work!

Oceans are not warmer. There are warm places with ocean and cold places with ocean. But salt water does not freeze nearly as soon as fresh water. A winter ocean can chill you (potentially to death) in seconds. You don't know what cold is until you've been sprayed by seawater on a windy winter day.

And due to the depth, sea water can be extremely cold. When I was in the navy we could estimate how deep the sub was by seawater inlet temp. Even in the tropics, seawater temp was in the 40-50F range once you got a couple hundred feet down.

You don't want the ocean. You want a tropical beach.

The ocean.I live in a mountainous area and while I loved it when I was younger, it now just makes me feel isolated from society. And I just really love the ocean

If both is allowed then both, sure

Both. Weighting the pros and cons of both if too frustrating.
