Since I couldn't find the CONTACT link at the bottom of the page, nor is there an option to send data from within the PS3 app, I'm posting it here.

I was enjoying Liar Game episode 7 on my Playstation 3 on my television, when about halfway through the episode the video froze. So I backed out (pressed O) and re-entered the episode. It gave me the option to continue from where I was so I pressed X to do so. Black screen. Nothing.

I then tried backing out and watching something else (as occasionally this fixes similar hiccups in Netflix) but instead I got the message "Unable to access online features. Please check your network connection and try again."

So I glanced over at my router and modem. They're both doing fine. I know my PS3 occasionally logs me out of the PSN which will kick me off of Crunchyroll and/or Netflix, YouTube, etc. So I hit the home button to check. Still connected. So I quit Crunchyroll and reloaded the app. Same issue. My Queue loaded and then clicking the video made a black screen appear. Backing out only gave me the same message "Unable to access online features. Please check your network connection and try again." overlayed on top of the images of my queue this time.

I rebooted my PS3.

PSN is still connected just fine. Load the app... The only thing showing up is "Unable to access online features. Please check your network connection and try again." (No images, just the My Queue and History links to the left, that message, and a whole lot of grey.)

I am currently using a friend's 48 Hour gift pass. I don't normally have this kind of issue even when I'm not on a pass and watching content with commercials.

My only guess is that there's perhaps an update to the app... Only my PS3 is not saying such and I have no option to download it/search for an updated version.

The website is working fine (I'm writing this on my same wi-fi network from my phone).

Doesn't seem to be a server issue.

Anyone else having this problem today?

Please advise.

As I've explained in detail above, I've tried "turning it off and on again".

I think it's the whole site, videos won't load for me either. Tbh CR should tweet about these problems and atleast acknowledge it's happening.

Contact information is found in the Help/FAQ section that is listed under "Support" at the bottom of the page.

We also have a "Help" category of the forums, which contains a forum section specifically for Sony Gaming Platform issues, so I've moved this there.

I was chatting with Kyoko in the support chat, when she advised me to try it on mobile - mobile will also not play videos and had the endless loading circle on black.

She did mention an outage they seem to be having. I agree with you though that it should be announced at the top of the main page, until the issue is resolved.

(This was after she advised me to uninstall and reinstall the app, which I did but also did not help.)

I tried to get back to the chat but the chat seems to have disappeared from existence and cannot be searched for. (Yet I still have that tab open.

Just got an email I hope it's from her...

I didn't mean to "hang up" the chat!

@One Punch Mod - thank you for moving this to the Help section of the forum. I only saw "General" and "Anime discussion" on my mobile (navigation isn't as friendly).

This does not appear to be merely a PS3 issue however.

Oh, the email was just that my post was quoted. I was really hoping it was Kyoko following up since the chat ended abruptly.

Any mods have an approximate time when this outage might be over?

Sorry as I've said it's hard to see all the sections on mobile, only Anime and General were shown to me. This issue has gone beyond PS3 and seems to be your general OUTAGE. Could you please move out of Sony and just into "Help" since I can't retitle the thread?

I wish my chat with Kyoko wouldn't have gone poof when I opened up the Android app on my phone at her suggestion. Even though I left the tab to the FAQ/HELP section of the website open.
