What is 'growing'? What is 'decaying'? Humanity will keep plodding along until our inevitable crushing victory over this tiny petri dish called 'the universe'.

Humanity, in general, has the potential for both, great and terrible things. That said, if you left alone the people who want to be left alone and work with the people who want to work with you, we could achieve great things.

Created in the image of God. Fallen through sin and sinful by nature. Possible to redeem through faith in Christ.

Put another way, not everyone in the world can be as hopelessly stupid as my coworkers.

Humanity will alway remain the same, its all how they were molded by their parents and friends they grow up with. Its the card we dealt with.. We may get lucky with finding Soulmate (true love), Great Job, and everything going the way you wanted it to be. Some may only get one of those, others get none! :(

Some are envy of other that they have family, while the family man/woman are envy of those who live lonely life.. -shrugs-

Right......maybe we can start living in whales too.

For the original question, humanity could be good. But we destroy whatever we touch. We cause extinctions, pollute the atmosphere, kill our own for monumentally stupid reasons from religion to selfish needs to expand businesses.

It's not a stretch to say we will ruin this planet if we continue on this course we are on.

Humans are shielding themselves from nature with clothes and structures. We're slowly but surely losing the biological side to us as organisms, and sooner or later we'll be creatures half biological and half basically skin slime. We're definitely fucking everything up slowlybut by bit, we as humanity are bringing an end to Planet Earth and all life on it, and yet, almost no one gives a shit. Almost every human would rather have comfort and quality over nature and real life. I think humans are a joke tbh but thats just me

80% Falling Apart
20% Clawing our way back

We seem to be more nescient (ignorant) as a species then figuring out and being enlightened about things.
Like being more introverted then we were say 100 years ago, and a couple 1000 years ago.
We rely too much on technology causing the above to occur more and more.
I feel more people consume content then helping produce it, and observing more then taking part.

But we do cure a few things we may have caused in the process.
Though we can't really fix things long lost, poverty will probably get worse, richer become more rich and less generous,
Species becoming more endangered quicker then before, the fuck ups with the environment on our home planet.

Everything just adds up to be a disaster. I hope we will one day make a turn around.
