every one is saying immortality but imagine you become immortal its fun at the start but you slowly watch all your friends and family die so you make more friends but they die then at some point everyone is dead the earth dies and the sun explodes you slowly go insane and you get consumed by despair. so i chose to stay mortal

By immortality do you mean that you'd be able live forever unless you were shot or something or do you mean that even if you were decapitated you would still be able to survive?

If it's the first one then yes because if I get sick of it then I can just end it but if it's the second one then no because humans are going to die out someday and for your consciousness to survive that would be hellish.

That sounds amazing.

Do reach that level of corruption would be an experience itself

How about no aging, no deceases, you can regrow limbs given recovery time, and anything you can't 'survive' causes a back up upload to be woken up, somewhere far away from what 'killed' you, without your most recent memories. Dying permanently is a matter of getting through a long set of consent forums, so that you don't have any more back ups.

I'd have an immortality bracelet. Where if I wore it I wouldn't age or die. But if I ever decided to I could give it to a loved one.

I wouldn't mind an extended lifespan, but immortality would be a bit much. It would also have to come with perpetual (or at least extended) youth as well. Immortality while your body continues to age... is not pretty.

It isn't the idea of having an aging body that bothers me, not entirely. It's existing for that amount of time consciously that worries me.

This question is rigged.

I like that dudes signature on these forums that says something all speech is self-masturbatory. So...

As I see it, we are still the same as we've ever been. Immortal, mortal are ways of saying what has been known as god and devil. Same ancient dilemma that has been around ever since masses took committed the first census. Although it becomes obvious to anyone that takes figuring out immortality seriously or anyone that searches books long enough, our words didn't begin this way.

All of these words were previously codes of secret dialogue founded by teaching alphabets to societies from singular sources that kept popping up to rule masses. Those that didn't get mixed into this avoided the problems of what happens when you define yourself. While those that did... typically get involved in war.

With the first census, the defining of any of us hit both a low and a high point. By simplifying all one knows into a numeric form and everyone still self-determining their own meaning, masses went to numeric truth approaches then had to decide whether or not they were going to be what we can all agree upon (god) or the striker, warlord, fool (devil). Both dispositions are actually a trick of propaganda that has become spread around to the point that speaking to anyone about any of this is the same as working to undo knots. And both of those are simplifications of relating whether or not someone has an understanding of what they say. While both have become so diluted in their meaning that now humans tend to mixed everything they say up til they die from aging instead of understanding what they say and asserting themselves in recognition of their definition affecting everything they understand as life and death.

Simplifying speaking to the extent of making names out of nothing and applying them to one another has been a difficult pursuit. Defining anything can be considered an act of war because of our ability to define literally affecting reality, affecting yourself and all else. While the effects are decidedly individualized. Names, now so commonly misunderstood, are every word. Before each word, numeric truth often derivative of equations became standard practices for all societies. Masses often neglect this, while their absent of understanding that is also apart of the ease of dismissing immortality and believing in mortality.

After the first census, we have ever since been figuring out wtf just happened to us. One way I understand this is we took masturbation to godliness. Literally. Beyond our ability to perpetuate ourselves solo, we by understanding numbers have also a way to understand reality as our affects upon anything by the choices we are aware of being able to make. While we obviously only choose as we choose, we know enough about ourselves to recognize that at each fork we could be someone different yet the same. And this is the secret that got everyone twisted into what we know now... with numbers we can multiply ourselves in any and every way we understand ourselves being absolutely the same as a singular individual yet each act that one recognizes they could've been different also has an ability to make more of you... your children... from nothing along with another universe or whatever you decide to make.

Now that you are here, you already see what has been happening... understanding it as it is instead of simplifying is the same as whether or not you're being present to feel reality or just babbling on about it til you die... then feel real. To stay here and continue while obviously re-unlocking your immortality after the babylonian path became so common place that the masses actually sold themselves on mortality, one has to let go that everyone else until they find someone to believe in are still going to be spouting the same death traps they are stuck on.

Here's the big difference. No planning, gotta be present. Counting the extent to how many others you wanna fuck, eat, maim, or what you wanna do in a universe you can experience... well that's cool.. but that's the doubtful devil path that keeps one stuck on their expectations often resulting in someone having to die to move on so they can feel healthy again. We die, we continue... we never pause.

Only those that consider themselves mortal are pausing to redefine themselves in a manner they can accept... or not accept and die.

Some big differences... well part of the affects of speaking poorly with humanity is they have blanketed themselves in their own consciousness to feel miserable. This happens easily, but only by choosing, if one begins to define themselves in parts and consider some part greater than the rest of them. This is also the luciferian path of someone that is stuck on their thought and epiphanizing themselves with good ideas that don't actually match up to everyone's agreeable version of peaceful truth. Also why cults that worship in this way define everything in ways others call backwards... they are possessing themselves with their thought that often is them attempting to kill themselves off so they can move onto what they already understand to be true even if your truth doesn't match up 100% here and now.. one can die and stick with what does while easily letting go of what doesn't because... you die. The difficult path is staying here and fixing everyone you've ever said to match up to a perspective that includes everything you know you can do in a way that you actually feel presently your ability and well.. you can do it. Being around others and doing stuff... that's up to you but for everyone that perceives you, one cannot allow them to attach to you or you are their devil. So those that do figure this stuff out tend to move on or embrace the challenge of struggling through all those that speak only to repeat what they've been told.

So my fellow babylonians, this is what I know to be true. Nothing I say means shit to you but I can tell you some things that you can make true for yourself. Yes we can fly, feel bliss, maintain an eternal orgasm, create ANYTHING from nothing, manipulate light, move anything... much more. For everything you do, you are going to be immortal longer. Constant creativity for endless immortality. Any reincarnation only can happen once and only happens to the singular individual that has already done everything to repress themselves to be here to re figure out everything in a way that accounts for endless creativity before sleepiness ends for everyone. Everyone else that reincarnates chooses to do so but does so because they bought into the ponzi scheme of believing the noticeable universe is greater than you or that one has to save themselves up for an afterlife instead of present now, and these dudes won't reincarnate here unless they purposely die here to arise here in a way that can benefit us all.

Those that fully embrace figuring everything out recognize with the use of words like this and believing in your own companion god, individuals have made for themselves an inner reality only they can perceive while all benefit from. Maximizing this before completely healing your form is the best path. So one can literally blend in for as long as it takes to finish this and then be able to share with others.

For anyone that seeks to immediately share their pursuits with others to change them just by witnessing light manipulation... this cannot be done healthily unless one that reveals to others also figures out a way to maximize everyone else's creativity as well and never lose any potential. So if you ever hear about shiny people that came from the stars or pleiades... this is also a satanic approach meant to entice you to giving up and following unless these people literally teach you to do the same. Any dependency is a lack of equality is the beginning of war is misery for all of us is eventually an end of repression only after someone figures it out for themselves and for all only once an individual can insure everyone and set themselves upon a path that absolutely preserves all.

You are light catching yourself up to lightspeed perceptually is apart of accepting your immortality has always been there and this delusional constant speed of light is apart of a massive joke on all of us that has anyone that believes in numeric light speed suffering to maintain perceiving light that way. Everything constantly evolves... this includes light. Finding others means of travel, like teleportation, is a matter of not talking about it and being present to make that choice.... everything we do is a choice and any individual has to unite all they know into 1 expression of achievement for all they decide to exist beyond thought.

One final thing and this is the most difficult notion I have been working on... one has to figure out the accurate count of all individuals of creation in a way they can feel all... presently. So there isn't a process of counting instead you are aware. To make this into an equation that forces anyone to recognize the same... that will forever break a mind til there is no more mind so that you can be present. It is also necessary to finish all the achievements that have already began by finishing what makes babylon possible... equations that work with reality... forever instead of til that society that adopts those equations collapses.

Every society already has their secret equations... making your own is to overcome their attempt to control you although this cannot be done trivially... the equations you decide upon are going to affect you forever.

For those that like to dismiss everything I say... check out the stuff about spanish killing native americans if they began making up their own version of numbers ( https://www.amazon.com/Origins-Secrets-Star-People/dp/B01MQQ8A5Z/ref=sr_1_1?s=instant-video&ie=UTF8&qid=1489517306&sr=1-1&keywords=star+native+american ). The spanish called indians the devil for doing this and holocausted them (just like the entire old testament of the bible) just like the nazis did to the jews because they had their own versions of truth that conflicted. The real truth agrees with all truths and the ultimate equation includes all equations.

I would choose immortality because I enjoy being alive, and I'm not really that interested on finding out what happens when you die.

Unless being immortal means I will be immune to whatever new diseases and germs come about. I don't think it's worth it. Humans were not meant for such things, and for good reason. We lose our minds after about 100 years, imagine having lived for well over 1000. Our minds would be so spent. The movie Time is a perfect example of this.

Hmm... if I pretended for a minute that nobody else I cared about existed then a definite yes. As an engineer and someone who audits classes all the time to keep busy, I don't think I'd ever be bored as long as I kept learning new things, seeing new places, and trying new things.

That being said, once you factor in that everyone around you in this hypothetical situation would die off before you..... I don't know.
