I work on the internal side of the company, so I can foist anything that doesn't require my involvement off to someone in the Customer Service department. I consider that a fringe benefit.

Eye strain can be an issue on busy days. For me it usually results in eye irritation, headaches and/or an annoying twitch in the corner of my right eye. Fortunately, vision is covered by my insurance should it get to the point that I need glasses.

My first and only real job was at a movie theater. I quit when college started. I enjoyed it, so I'll be going back during the summer and might keep it throughout next year too.

Can I just say retail sucks. Dealing with people and their money turns them into monsters. Glad I don't have to that crap anymore.

Hear, hear. Although at least bad customers went away. Bad managers and coworkers were always there.

I work in a Japanese restaurant. We have a dish called "Bakuretsu" that goes up in flames when we cook it. Whenever that happens, I yell "Explosion!" like Megumin, but nobody watched it, so they don't get the reference. They just think I'm making fun of their accent.

Ticket Cashier (Kentucky Kingdom) -->
Front-Counter Cashier (KFC) -->
Cashier (Dairy Queen) -->
Stocker (Wal-Mart) -->
Cleaning Captain (KFC) -->
Cashier (Wal-Mart) -->
Customer Service Supervisor (Wal-Mart) -->
Computer Science Tutor (University of Louisville) -->
Intern (same company where I work now) -->
Applications Engineer (same company where I work now).

It's been a long string of jobs but I am in my role what I majored in. I didn't get as much salary as I was hoping, but here is to hoping I get a raise soon or a promotion.

As a side note, my work place is also where I learned the word "sasuga," but I've only ever heard it used sarcastically. A few weeks ago I prepared a dish that took 10 minutes to make, then the waitress came and accidentally dropped it. I was like, wtf...

Me: Sasuga, Yuki-chan. >_>

Yuki: Gomenasai!

She promised me that she'd say sorry 100 times that day, so every time she came to pick up a dish from me, I'd say ""Sasuga, Yuki... >_>" And she'd reply with "Gomenasai!" Then she was promoted to manager two weeks ago. >_>
