So I have been paying with for my subscription for quite some time with paypal. I reached out to crunchyroll to find out why I couldn't pay for a yearly membership (this was before the bitrate issues came to light) with my paypal - as I have been paying month to month with my paypal credit.

Upon getting a response from crunchyroll i was told

Thank you for writing. Unfortunately, we do not yet accept PayPal credit. Our system accepts PayPal if it is tied to a bank account or credit card. If you want to update to a yearly membership, which is a better bargain, I can refund you last monthly charge. Please let me know if you would like that. Thank you for your time.


So I respond telling them I have been paying with my paypal balance for years.

Now I get 3 e-mails in a row, 1 cancel premium membership, 1 refund from crunchyrolll and 1 subscription service suspended (all crunchyroll).

I never told anyone to cancel my subscription. My single question was I couldn't pay with my paypal balance and asked why.

Now here I am - more or less confused. Where do I go from here?
