So uh, if I want to magnify something really really small like on the atom scale, can I build a really really large magnifying glass to see it? I mean right you probably need an electron microscope to see it because light's wavelength is larger than an atom(if someone can explain this to me it would be cool too). But even then you can build an electromagnetic lens used by the electron microscope the size of a football field. Bigger is better right?

On the other hand, scientists are building attosecond laser to see an atom's electron. If someone would tell me how it works it would be cool, could it actually be used to see the structure of an atom? If so how? It seems quite theoretical to me. Thanks to whoever that can answer these two questions
