Hey everyone ~

Nicknames can be bad or good, but everyone’s got at least one! In Masamune-kun’s Revenge, Masamune’s life is turned upside-down when the girl of his dreams not only rejects him, but labels him “Pig’s Foot” - driving Masamune to dedicate his young life to petty revenge.

We’re asking you to share YOUR childhood nicknames, and tell us how they made you feel!! Did you feel empowered? Was it endearing? Or was your nickname something that hurt, that you didn’t want? Childhood nicknames built us into who we are today - the challenges we faced as kids helped make us stronger. Tweet us your childhood nickname story with the hashtag #pigsfoot by Monday, March 20th at 11:59pm PST for a chance to win one of two Masamune-kun’s Revenge prize packs!!

And if you don’t feel comfortable sharing your childhood nickname for ANY reason, just let us know what your favorite anime character’s nickname is, and use the Full details below, as always ~

Our friends at Seven Seas Entertainment have generously provided the Masamune-Kun's Revenge manga for our prize pack! The two prize packs include: the first two volumes of the manga, a Masamune-kun’s Revenge Poster, and a clear file from the series. What a great prize!! I can’t wait to see all your entries ~

Though I've never had a bad nickname, or any nickname for that matter, people were always getting my name wrong even after I would repeat it. But not only that, people were always misspelling or miss-typing my name by a single letter even when it was written right in front of them.

Safe to say anything is game from primary education (K-12), since the anime takes place in high school.

Alright so currently in High School I got so into JoJo to the point to where everything I do is a reference even posing or getting triggered about my hair being trashed. So as a joke I began putting my name in projects as "Papa Brando" afterwards my friends just started to call me Papa Brando or PB

I was 'PopTart' in elementary school because i wore a tshirt with it on it. I got the shirt in one of those mail-in giveaway's.
She was the "mean girl" in 5th grade, and so i was mercilessly berated for being a fan of the heavenly toaster food.
Suffice to say i prefer Toaster Strudel...

My nickname growing up was "Steiny." My last name was Steinhauer and was just always called Steiny. Not really a bad nickname I just always thought it was weird that nobody ever called me by my first name, not even my family. Always Steiny.

Never had a nickname cause I'm pretty boring. People always get my name wrong if they hear it because it's not a common name. (But it happens to rhyme with more common names, go figure). If they see it written, people usually get it right or pretty darn close.

I was called the bean pole and stick figure, because in high school I was 6 feet tall and was as skinny as a rail.
