Are you afraid of dying? For the last 7 years of my life I always thinks of what it feels like to die. Is it just like when you put your pillow on your face and cannot breath. It hurts when I do that. Having that experienced I always fear death. Because to live is great. But all things must go and we are not excluded in that. But still when I think about it all I can do is to cry the fear I had.

I don't fear death. What is scary is when people meet their end how they seem to just vanish from existence. Where do they go? I don't like that people/animals just seem to disappear.

Yes and no. Personally I'm not afraid of dying, but rather I'm afraid of how my death would affect my loved ones.

I'm afraid HOW I would die

Of cancer? alone? accident?

I just want a painless death and that's dying in your sleep or drowning.

Nope, I'm afraid of not living.

Rolling out the big questions, eh?

I don't want to die just as much as I don't want my loved ones to die, but I've made my peace with it. You have to. However, in my darkest moments, I admit that I become afraid, but sadness and grief usually overwhelm any sense of fear. Either way, I try not to let fear and worry over the inevitable overshadow the joy hiding in the now.

No, I'm just scared of those close to me dying. Infact I have a particularly special friend I hold very dear that always worries me and I fear that one day she'll be gone. She never really tells me everything that's going on and it just tears me apart

Not really afraid of dying but a little apprehensive of what comes afterwards. I like problem solving / logic so knowing that we all die at some point is just something to accept, but it's much more difficult to try and anticipate what will happen to us afterwards because there's no way of knowing.

I would say that I'm scared of friends/family dying though, it's tough losing people that you care about.

Nah, I don't worry so much about myself, but if it was some family (especially niece or nephew) or close friends I'd probably more afraid for their safety.

Well, more of fear of after life..

What prevent Christian from killing them self? Its not wanting to burn in hell forever!

We were taught that our lives belong to God and to take life away is a disrespectful in eye of god!

Little bit. But I don´t think you´re supposed to brood on it too much, or it might impact your enjoyment of life in a bad way

That's a bit concerning that you did that.. but anyway, I won't meddle.

I only fear death in regard to my family or friends because I would be afraid of losing them. If I were to suddenly die due to some fatal illness right now, I would be fine with that. I'm content with what I've done up to this point in my life and I don't have any regrets.
