Anyone else get an e-mail from Crunchyroll stating they had been given a free movie ticket to go see Ghost in the shell movie and to go to fandango and use a coupon that didn't work? Or is it just that all the freebies were claimed already and I was just 2 days late for not checking my misc e-mail account?

It was very clear in the email that there was a limit on number of free tickets available. I am confident that after two days they simply had all been redeemed already.

Just to clarify, it wasn't very clear in the email, it only says at the very end of all the fine print "while supplies last". Not that I expect anything free since I just subscribe for the streaming services but its kinda crappy to tote this as a "premium benefit" and not give it to every premium user. I also tried to redeem as well and did not work.

Either you got a different email than I did, or you overlooked the "1,250" that was in big orange letters at the very beginning of the message, as well as the word "chance" that appears twice in the first paragraph, indicating it's not a promise that everyone who gets the message or has the code gets a ticket.

I clearly saw the very boldly outlined 1,250. I just thought there would be enough supply for the demand? lol no idea why since who doesn't want free right? xD

IT'S NOT A SCAM, SOME PEOPLE ARE JUST NOT SMART ENOUGH TO REALIZE THAT THEY'RE TICKETS FOR GHOST IN THE SHELL, NOT GHOST IN THE SHELL 3D .....come on people. ....

I got a different email because the one I got didn't say that in the orange letters.

Also they pretty much ran out 4 days ago once this was posted yet they are still promoting it on the front page as of right now and I got ANOTHER email just an hour ago on a different email account telling me to "sign up for a 30 day trial for my free movie ticket". They don't have any more tickets so they shouldn't be promoting this.

Not saying its a scam but it is crappy/shady practices.

I can almost guarantee that this is not true as I just got a ticket less then 30 minutes ago.
I don't know why but my friend also tried to get a ticket but for some reason it did not work for her.

It might deal with what link you used, it seems very picky about that.
But my email gave no indication of limited supply.
so I don't know what the issue is here.
