Sooo yeah, was spending my sunday night with some anime, as many sunday nights before in my life. Things seemed to work as great as usual, until after a new episode loaded I did not see nor hear the playback - instead I had this blank space where the video should have been (and where it had been seconds ago).
Tried clearing cache, rebooting the apparatus, even turning off both my laptop & router, but nothing seems to work. While I have done what I see as the only reasonable option in such situations and contacted the support, I have also come here to ask my fellow users a few questions.

First, has anyone else experienced this issue recently? Second, have you been able to fix it yourself, and if so can you please tell me how?

Blank space... do you mean something like this?

No video player ... just blank gray space. If that's it, then it has happened to me as well as others. For me it just cleared up on it's own without me doing anything after a day or so. Here's one previous thread:

There are other threads on this very issue, but it seems that the problem "goes away" after a day or two. Crunchyroll has been trying new video encoding methods so I'm not sure if it's related to that or just random server hiccups.

Hope some of that helps.

I am also sharing that problem my cache was recently cleared and it's been a couple of days went away then came back. It's nice knowing you aren't alone though

Ahh yes, that would look exactly as what I had - as in a blank space where should at least be traces of the video.
But alright, good to know it might just go away with time. I'll be here waiting for my stream to be back.

edit:
Decided to go check if the issue would have been gone overnight, just in case. Was positively surprised that it works - well, my stream at least.
