I have a TCL roku TV.. For the last week or so whenever I try to watch a new video it gets stuck on "Retrieving" with a full bar. Older videos work fine.

The videos I tried were the latest episodes of Dragon Ball Super and Kobayashi's Dragon Maid, which didn't work. Episodes of Stardust Crusaders seem to be fine.

Same issue on my RokuTV, Dragon Ball Super ep. 82

Tried uninstalling/reinstalling the app, no effect.

Same here, this issue is really lame. Stuck on retrieving and its only for the new show releases, old episodes play fine.

I have a TCL Roku 32 inch model

Crunchyroll fix this shit!

I have the same tv as everyone on here a TCL Roku tv.

I don't think they know what the problem is either cause they told me to do the exact same thing as everyone. Yes no effect. I did this process twice!!!

Yes I agree!!! Crunchyroll you need to fix this, cause the solution you trying to give to people ain't working!!!

What did you do Crunchyroll!?!?

App is version 3.0 from Dec. 8, 2015

I wonder if this has something to do with their new platform (the one that tanked bitrates last week), maybe the app needs to be updated by the developers. Either way, some comment from CR would be nice.

Tried watching the new Twin Star Exorcists tonight, same issue. Still nothing from any Crunchyroll staff either. Just a "hey guys, we see the problem and we're working on it" would be nice. I'm going to have to seriously consider giving up my membership if this continues.

This is happening on my rokutv as well. I thought it was just me. It has only been happening for last week or so. I hope they fix it soon. Even some of the older episodes are doing it.

Crunchyroll we need a response regarding this, people with the TCL Roku TV's and ROKU TV's in general seem to be affected by this issue.

Its still happening.

My Sharp Roku is having the same issues, and it's definitely new episodes. I even sent in an email about it and got a stock answer that showed that the person sending it didn't even read the email.

I'm having the same issue. I contacted support on March 19 and I have yet to receive a response. It pisses me off that they can't at least respond when I am a premium member.

An update: NEW episodes are now working, but previously affected episodes aren't.
IE: Kobayashi 10, stuck on Retreiving, Kobayashi 11, plays

I'm having the same issues and my Sharp Roku TV still isn't working with the new episodes of DB Super or One Piece. I've reset everything I can think of.

Is anyone else having issues with funimation as well? If I watch two episodes in a row, back to back, it effects my whole TV. No fast forward or reverse. I can't to to the main TV home screen or back out at all. I have to unplug the power and reset.

Same situation with ACCA... Ep 9 works. Ep 10 hangs at retrieving and never starts, ep 11 works just fine.

Edit: Definitely seems to be a Roku-TV specific problem; everything that I have tried plays with no issues when I plug in a Roku-3.

It's odd that it is only certain episodes on the TV. In addition to the ACCA oddness above where the most recent does play, another example is Chiruran 1/2.

Episode 10 plays
Episodes 11 and 12 do not play on Insignia Roku TV.

All play just fine/have no issues with a Roku-3.

The TVs are supposedly Roku Sticks internalized, so I wonder if Stick users are having this issue, too.
