Hmm... interesting. There's a pattern setting in here. There are reports of other episodes exhibiting the same behavior of only working on the web site, but not in the apps. Even older episodes like Naruto Shippuden - Episode 219...

That's the only major public change that has come out recently. Or maybe the marriage of VRV x CR is producing deformities.

I'm also having problems with the latest Eldlive and Trickster - I'm using the Roku app and getting "Playback interrupted".

Latest Gintama works fine though.

I noticed this also. Eldive yesterday and Gabriel dropout this morning. Works perfectly fine on my computer but will not load on the crunchyroll app.

Same prob here, any new episodes will not play on my roku or Xbox one. Just get a playback interrupted message, check my connection. Older episodes play fine. Getting really pissed off now.

Edit.. or on the android app either smh

I've got the same problems with Gabriel Dropout and Trikster.

In case it helps, I'm in the UK,and neither works on my PS4 nor my iPad.

Tons of shows don't play on iOS. What is going on Crunchyroll??????

ElDrive episode 11 from Sunday still doesn't play. Gabriel Dropout, Trickster and Chiruran don't play today.

But Nyanko Days, Nyanbo and Yowamushi Pedal do play.

HTML5 versions don't play either. Probably the same files.

You suck right now Crunchyroll. Fix it.

Yep for sure the same thing is happening on my PS4. I dunno if it is cause a recent update to the Crunchyroll App for it (the PS4 gave me a notification that CR updated). This was last Friday and since then a handful of shows have been spotty while trying to playback. I had to resort to logging in here and watching them from my PC, not that I don't mind cause I can comment on the Anime, but I have a big TV and PS4 for streaming for a reason. I hope they can resolve this, cause there have been "hiccups" of sorts in other Anime I watch, its very subtle as in half a scene repeats. Making me reconsider reupping my yearly sub.

"known issue with Android..." seems to be a canned response-- I got that word for word in response to playback halting with the latest Saga of Tanya episode this past weekend. IT isn't my field of expertise by any means, but it strikes me as odd that an issue with something as "global" as an operating system manifests only with certain videos and not others. Anyway, hours later, and still can't watch latest Gabriel on Android app. The response is always "soon" but with repetition without resolution, it's becoming a meaningless promise.
