I spent a huge part of my life watching Naruto and Naruto Shippudden. Man, what a ride, memories of back in middle school talking about Naruto as a kid to other classmates in middle school. Drawing scrolls on sheet of papers and running around doing "Jutsu's". Ahahah man the feels... I started watching this show at 9... Im 20 now. I spent the next years from 9 watching the serie, I can still remember the naruto and sasuke battle (in the first serie) how intense it was, they were both my favorite characters and watching them fight was huge to me! I watched it a hundred times easily.
I might be over the top with this, but I don't care, Naruto was a huge part of my life and to think that it is over makes me both sad and happy because its part of my childhood and teenage that I will remember until my last breath.

Thank you Masashi Kishimoto, Katsuyuki Sumisawa, Junki Takegami, Junki Takegami, Satoru Nishizono, Yasuyuki Suzuki and Yasuaki Kurotsu for this amazing adventure!

And a very special thanks to crunchyroll for having taken so much care to us anime fans to bring Naruto Shippuden to this wonderful site.

Only half? It felt more like 3/4ths.

If it weren't for those dead spots of fillers that I tended to skip, I'd categorize the series as one of the best out there. Growing up with Naruto and watching him grow had been such an enjoyable ride.

I'll miss the Akatsuki, primarily Pain, and the total let-down known as Madara.

But we get the next generation! Following Boruto and watch him grow and come to the realization that he will not be anywhere close to his father's level.

254 episodes out of 654, so 39% filler.

I must have been thinking of Detective Conan lol

... no actually that is also 39% filler.

Weird.

I guess 39 is the magic number. At least we know One Piece is probably way more than 39%

I'm happy and sad! I'm gonna miss Naruto, I skipped a lot of filler and some other parts. I started watching it back when it was on Toonami I think 2005?? When Disney took over Naruto I stopped watch for a long time. Then started watching Sub. It's been a wild ride. Now lets see what Boruto has to offer.

It depends on how you classify filler. Because One Piece actually does not have that many filler episodes in the sense of Naruto or DC.

Rather what One Piece does is

1) Have a long opening, all together about 6 minutes of the episode is taken up by a combination of the opening sequence and recap.
2) Have really long reaction scenes where characters just stare aimlessly with their jaws dropped.

So One Piece buys time by putting less actual content into a single episode and just finding ways to artificially stretch it to fit a half hour block. It has some episodes that are fillers, but very few of them.

Nope! Although One piece has a lot more episodes of Naruto, Luckily it doesn't have as much fillers! It is actually at 14%

Don't worry Boruto is coming. Hopefully it will be just as good as Naruto and Naruto Shippuden.

Huh. Well I'll be damned. After hearing so many fans lamenting the filler arcs and how many more episodes it has over Naruto despite not having started publication much earlier I could have sworn there was more. My mistake.
