What are some anime that you absolutely love that feel incomplete? Or that clearly have more story to tell, but there won't going to be any more seasons? Or that stopped being produced as anime, but have tons more manga--so clearly the story continues for there to be more anime season.

Shows that I love which NEED MORE SEASONS:

Yona of the Dawn
Junjo Romantica
Sekai Ichi Hatsukoi
ReLife (I still have hope that this will have more seasons)

A few that I can think of include:

Chihayafuru
Log Horizon
Spice and Wolf
Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun

I guess they don't desperately need another season, but I would like more.

Rokka no Yuusha.
Tokyo Ghoul (needs a whole remake)
Deadman Wonderland (R.I.P. Manglobe)
Akame ga Kill (they could just do what Black Butler/Blue Exorcist did and pretend the anime original ending never happened)

Yona of the Dawn is a good one. I think I posted this in a similar thread recently.

Hozuki no Reitetsu

Jojo part 6-8 (5 is almost inevitable so no point wishing)
Lupin part 5
More Natsume Yujincho

Shows I'd pitch that ain't gonna happen tier:

Great Grandfather Onizuka
Magic Knight Rayearth vs. Evangelion vs. Godzilla
Serial Experiments Lain 2: real internet is creepier than 90s dystopianism
Just some more Dennou Coil

For my part, shows which need a new season next year at the latest are:
A Certain Magical Index
A Certain Scientific Railgun
DanMachi (no spinoff, we want to see the battle with Apollo Familia)
Log Horizon
Food Wars
Irregular at Magic High School
Non Non Biyori
Himouto Umaru-chan
Yona of the Daw
And most of all....
THE DEVIL IS A PART-TIMER NEEDS A SECOND SEASON, A THIRD AND AS MANY AS THEY WANNA MAKE

It definitely needs a reboot! Even though I liked the original anime series (and ✓A too), the manga tells the story so much better.

Why do people keep saying Drifters when season 2 was already confirmed at the same time the final episode aired?

I can live with the, "We are taking a year off to wait for more source material, but there will be more seasons." It's frustrating, but I can live (barely). I also think I'm weird because if the anime takes a different ending than the manga (as in original Fullmetal Alchemist anime), I'm more or less okay with that. It lets me have a conclusion for the anime AND I can enjoy the manga as a separate story.

For me, the truly heartbreaking moment is when I discover an anime that is several years old--then after getting hooked I find out that the anime drops off before the story ends. No real conclusion. Not even a psuedo conclusion that digresses from the original manga.

Heart. Broken.
