Killing under any circumstances is, in my opinion, murder. A soldier shots his enemy on the field of battle? Politically correct murder. So this leads us to the question at hand, and the ‘flaw’ (for lack of a better word) in and of it. The question is not specific enough, and is shocking broad. Justified in what way? Politically, legally, or morally? I’ll address each.

so all soldiers are murderers and when i decide to join up, ill be a murderer? theres a difference between soldier and murderer. soldiers defend the country. murderers attack with unjustified provocation or even without provocation.

don't we only hear our countries side of the story tho? there are so many gaps left in the facts.
perfect. 'masters of war' by bob dilan start playing..

Meh, I really don't like how people try to act like "The Manly of Men". Seriously now, I'll be truthful, I think a sh*tload of rape victims completely overreact, and pedophiles... eh.... I'm not into what they're into... but not all of the kids they're into are like 5 years old.. I really don't believe in shit like killing them or even giving them jail time (if they haven't committed a crime.) Rape is indeed a crime, but sometimes (maybe most of the time) the victims overreact. There is no justification for overreacting whatsoever.

who says, they overreacted? they just got fucked without consent. how would you react if you were just sodomized without consent?

I'd be mad, and then get over it sooner or later. I was held against my will, and raped.. something to get mad at... but not to go "T.T Men are all sex pigs.. they're all evil /become feminist... *sob*". OVERREACTING imo.

dude, not all people do that. thats kinda ignorant man. ive heard of few people who do that. and i dont think youd get over it too quickly. ya people get over it but it takes lots of time and counseling.

That's just a huge example that I made really. But if I were raped, I'd not really need counseling. I don't see anything that I need to get into my head to get over it, because I will eventually get over it, in 3 months or less really. You were raped, if you need help for that something is wrong with your head. I'm not saying it's ONLY sex, but I'm rather saying it's just like someone being an ass and taking it too far. I mean it's like someone doing something cruel, people do it ALL the time. This time it just had to deal with you being exposed to a person, that is hurting you (raping you). I don't think that = the right to murder the rapist. The people who need counseling/etc. in my opinion (imo) are emotionally weak, and the fact they're emotionally weak doesn't make me pity them anymore.

Stop stating you’re opinion as if it were fact at me, please. I do not see a difference.

Murderous:
likely to cause death: violent and likely to result in bloodshed or murder
Encarta ® World English Dictionary © & (P) 1998-2005 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.

Soldiers very readily fit that definition. However, I don’t fault them, and find them unfortunate necessities in life. Whenever you become a soldier you will be murderous. If you shoot somebody and end their life you’ll be a murderer. Just a politically correct murderer.

Also, please use the edit button in the future. Double posts are bothersome and take up unnecessary posting space.

Anyway I don’t think people get to make decisions on these things. We can have opinions, but I don’t believe we (as flawed individuals) have a very good grasp on morality. To quote a creed song: “The spread of fear in the name of love and God.” It plagues the world and is responsible for religions bad reputation. Because people don’t comprehend right and wrong completely. (Hints that there is such a wide definition on it.)

Anyway, you can live however you want. You can think whatever you like about me, but if you join the military and shoot an enemy down I’ll think you’re a murderer.

Justification is relative for the person who commited/wants to commit the . The person they ed might have d their sister, and they found that justification for him. Justification could even be something like, the guy stole their favorite pencil in third grade, and they felt like getting revenge, or something like that. However, legally, the only justification would be in a time of war, since we must "defend" ourselves from the attackers, and sometimes in self-defence, if it was a matter of life and on your part.

im not saying kill the rapists unless they are murderers as well, im trying to say you cant know if you need counseling or not until it actually happens to you. ya some are weak and need help, dont rebuke them for it. i personnally do not believe in counseling but if others do let them.

Rape removes peoples dignity and pride.
When you were young did you ever used to pick the wings of a daddy longs legs or the legs of one and watch it squirm?
Thats what rape is like it demeans a person they lose faith in humanity.
You come to terms with it or it drives you insane and you kill yourself, you never get over it.

So whats counciling going to do for a rapist?Set them on a live of not raping people?
They should be killed.

i don't reckon murder is a punishment, i reckon it is a relief of conscience and guilt in some circumstances.

Yup. If someone came at my with a knife with his full intention of killing me, I will not hesitate to kill his ass because I rather be alive than dead. Thank you very much!

Sorry, but humans' lives are more valuable than some insects. That's like one of the dumbest comparison I've ever heard. Firstly, if you pick all the insect's wings, legs, or any body's party, they will die. However, if you rape someone, they will more than likely not die... Sweet, someone raped a girl. If she really can't get over it, she doesn't deserved to live. Bad things happen to good people. That's basically it.
