Writer and manga creator Daisuke Satō passed away due to ischemic heart disease on March 22. He was 52. His immediate family have already held a funeral service, and his younger sister Yūko Shinmyō was the chief mourner.

Manga does not work that way. It's not like the U.S. When the author dies the work is finished most of the time.

I didn't know that. Interesting, but maybe they will find some of his work that continued the story and has yet to be published, Madhouse is making season 2s now so anything is a possibility.

Yeah, manga is usually the property of the creator, not the publisher/company like comics in the U.S. and other nations.
