I was referring to what appears to be a personal bias against rural Americans, and a want of stereotyping them. I'm not sure about the nature of this discussion you started with me, though, since it doesn't appear to be directly related to my quote.

I was agreeing with you on your support of Auroraloose taking the OP to task, albeit for different reasons.

In this case, the point that Aurora knew what Princess Dragonmom here was talking about, and was more experienced to make her look like a hysterical state-propaganda-fed idiot about it. As you also noted, which is why I took the opportunity to agree.
Whereas most of the rest of the posters didn't know (and tried to bluff the discussion anyway), but since I had more than a sneaking suspicion, I was gracious enough to defer to the other poster's experience.

Too bad the OP's point is demonstrably false. The rural areas in the US voted Trump, metropolitan voted Hillary, Trump is president. The metropolitan areas pay more in taxes, get fewer returns on their tax money than rural areas which are heavily subsidized by the federal government. So what we see in reality is that the rural areas wield more influence and provide less support to the government than the metropolitan areas.
