Haven't found that special somebody Just as an aside, I'm a firm believer that you can be your own special person without validation from anyone else. Granted, having that sort of relationship is a truly wonderful experience that I think everybody should have; but you don't need a significant other to make yourself happy. Being single certainly has its perks!

I didn't celebrate it. But on the next day. My sister and I bought a whole bunch of bouquets that were on sale. You could buy a dozen roses for $2 are you satisfy without special someone? Yes are you happy with it? Yes. I'm content. how long can you still be single? For a very long time. I only want to have a serious commited relationship where we both see marriage in our possible future. Now a days at my age it's hard to find a guy like that. Most the guys I know are players, mental cases, or are already married. reasons why you are still single? I don't think I am able to handle a relationship right now. I don't feel like at this point in time I could dedicate so much time to a relationship. I have my career/school, family, friends, and my spiritual growth to worry about. I want to be able to become the right person before I start a relationship, so that I won't cause the other person pain when I'm in the relationship. ( I hope that explains what I mean by spiritual growth.)
