Last night I went to play an episode of Log Horizon on my phone (Galaxy S7, Nouget 7.0) and I got the message, "There was a problem playing this video. Please try again or contact support if this problem persists." I thought that maybe their servers were down or something and just went to bed. Now when I wake up I try it again, and it works. So I watch one epislde amd then when I go on to the next one, it starts playing for about 1 second and then I get the message again and it stops working. I then chexk other episodes of other shows and they are all doing the same thing. I looked up the problem and it appears that something may be blocking the ads from playing (which is stupid because I'm a premium member) however, I don't know of anything on my phone that would be blocking ads. I hadnt used the app for a long time before this so I don't kbow what could have changed to cause the problem. The only noteworthy chamge on my phone that I can think of would have been upgrading to Nougat 7.0.

same problem but I am on 5.0 android.. tried with VPN and bunch of different things with no fix :\

PC = Fine
Android Devices = That error

Same here, but I'm on a PS3 console with a basic with-ads subscription--
The episodes run fine, but I'm getting "Please restart this application" crashes ("Undefined data") every time an ad break loads up.

EVERY time. On EVERY show.

Oddly enough Attack on Titan Season 2 Ep 1 played fine... makes me think there is something only wrong with older shows?

Update:
Tried it yesterday and it last night again and it was working perfectly fine. I didnt change anything. However I did reset my phone between the two times, I have no idea what happened.

well, It took me 30 minutes just to pay for this service since it doesn't understand how to take my money after I've already used my trial. Now, 3 episodes into Akame Ga Kill! it gives me the same error. It seemed to be every show.

I tried attack on titan as suggested above. After I started season 2 episode 1 I went back to my show and it worked. Everything worked... Maybe others having this problem might try that.

Hopefully I'm done with issues now. : )
