Now for clarification, I'm not inherently against having a teenager as a main character. It's just as someone who is 30, it's harder for me to identify and get into an anime where the main character is a teenager. There are exceptions like Attack on Titan, but I just want something different other than "High Schooler finds out he/she is special". As someone new to Crunchyroll, can anyone recommend anime on here that fits that bill? c:

Those are a few I can think of off the top of my head.

While I've already seen Cowboy Bebop, several of these seem interesting to me. Thanks a ton!

Sweetness & Lightning
Gate
Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid
I can't understand what my husband is saying

Interviews with Monster Girls [many of the characters are teenagers but the lead character is a middle aged male teacher]
Berserk (though the series on here is a sequel to the recent movie series (the movies were a remake of an earlier TV series). You may want to watch either the original TV series or the movies (or both) before the latest series).

Yuri!!! On Ice
It's figure skating, so the characters tend to be younger, but the two main characters are 23 and 28, and many of the support characters are in their early to mid 20's.

Shirobako
The first few minutes of the first episode take place in high school, then it jumps forward a few years. Most of the characters are in their early to mid 20's, starting out in the workplace, but there are several middle aged characters as well.

The main character is 29, but most of the series takes place when he is 11. Don't let that stop you, this show is really excellent.

Also, while not on Crunchyroll, check out anything made by the brilliant Satoshi Kon. While Perfect Blue has a young main character, the rest of his work features adults as primary characters. It's also all freaking AMAZING, some of the best anime I've seen. He left us way too soon. His works: Perfect Blue, Millennium Actress, Tokyo Godfathers, Paranoia Agent, and Paprika.
