Huzzah in deed! It looks funny to me and that is my #1 requirement for anime. I do watch non-funny anime too, but i prefer rom-com/sol/fanntasy comedies.

fantastic news, it's a fun battle series and I like the creativity in the use of the Obi as a weapon

First two episodes are out on CR now.

I better turn my brains off when watching this show. It tries to do the supernatural comedy story but I can't really get invested into any of the characters. The main girl has a weird personality and gets triggered easily. Kazuya is dense as a black hole and the glasses girl has an obvious crush on him.

For what's worth, the manga has much more fan service so this adaptation toned it down significantly. Meh.

For a second there, I thought I was about to see my first anime circumcision...

It looks goofy, plus I like yokai shows, so I'll probably continue following this one. I have to say, I'll be slightly disappointed if Chiaki's fan doesn't become a tsukumogami at some point. Also, that was a really nice boat in episode 2...

Episode 1

The first episode starts off with Kazuya remembering someone leaving and he wakes up only to grope his childhood friend and gets a beating. After getting away from Chisato he gets a attacked by a wig on the school roof and falls off to his death, but his obi comes to life and save him. Kiriha saves him from his true attacker and demands that he becomes her servant.

Kazuya wakes up late due Kiriha destroying his alarm clock and gets to school late. To make it worse he even forgot to write a paper but Chisato agrees to help him out and takes him to the library. While at the library she remembers how she use to tutor him before and even asks to go to his house to tutor him again. He accepts at first but than remembers of Kiriha living at his house and turns her down. This later plays a big role as they are prevented from leaving the library. Lucky for them Kiriha shows up and is able to figure out why they couldn't leave library.

Why does Kiriha remind me of Nanana Ryūgajō from Nanana's Buried Treasure with her pudding fetish.

The first episode burned through fan service cliches like it was going down a checklist and yet still managed to achieve a tone so perfectly generic I'm not even sure what to say about the show. It's just....there. Nothing about it, the premise or the character's stand out in anyway at all.

The only noteworthy thing it did was barely wait till after the opening for the first sexual assault "gag". >.>

The obi in obi form is pretty.

The part where the MC tried to logically negotiate out of the servitude he'd previously agreed to under duress -- I liked that.

The over the top ecchi tropes, and super-domineering, violent obi-gal may appeal to some, but it's got negative appeal for me, so this becomes my second drop of the season (and the main reason I watched two episodes instead of dropping it after one, is mostly because episode 2 was already there.)

It looks like the plot line might pick up some with Episode 3, but I think they overdid it with using the main male character as a convenient punching bag in the first two episodes.

Knowing this has Ecchi; I was hoping it wouldn’t be that much as I am not found of that genre anymore. It did have some at the beginning and cliché moments like in the bathroom but nothing over the top that I disliked.

I do hope that this series won’t just turn out more ero (pervy), the echhi that was shown I could tolerate, but the question is for how long will be until possibly something I will see will put me off watching it. Hopefully nothing will.

id like to say sorry to the creators for judging this book by its cover. I was totally wrong to do that cause I ended up loving this series after the first episode. I cant wait to watch more.

Looks like one I was on in Japan.

I really liked Nanana, still disappointed it didn't get a second season or a Blu-ray release :/

Anyway funny show though I don't think it's very healthy to have such an intimate relationship with your mother's clothes lol

The series won me over on the quality of it's dick jokes. Episode 2 needed more.

At this rate, I'm pretty sure they'll just try to make each of the main female characters relevant in some way. Meh.

Kiriha and Kokuyou's rivalry felt cringe worthy.
