The sloppy animation kind of worries me. The background of the stopped car still panning out in particular stuck out to me as just careless production. However the main characters have fantastic chemistry, so I'll definitely at least watch the second episode.

I distinctly got an Old Man Logan vibe from Zoroku, minus all the claws and blood of course.

Criticisms:
The clunky (and dark) 3D animation really bothers me. Seriously, I know it's cheaper guys but how bout some actual effort if you want your show to be remembered passed this year?
That scene with the car chase was awful. I wouldn't care if the bad 3D didn't take up so much of the show.
"Evil research facility" is a pretty lame antagonist. Could have done without Sana's expository data dump of all the dumb names they came up with for the girl's powers at the restaurant.
Likes:
Great character chemistry between Sana and Zoroku. This is also one of the few times I see more effort put into the design of an old man character in comparison to all the females. Zoroku is definitely the glue holding this thing together for now. It has some problems but lots of potential. The ED was nice. Pretty good start, I'll stick around for more.

Eh not just CG but awful CG will make this difficult to stick with, the character designs are kind of bland too, except the old man everyones face is identical with different hair and a reality warper escapi g from the lab I just saw in Flip Flappers...This ones going to have to work hard to keep me around.

As others have said, some of the CG is rough and production seems sloppy. Oddly enough, though, the first words out of my mouth were "wow, this looks good (visually)." At least, that's what I'd said in the first thirty seconds or so. Still, I got an interesting vibe from the cover due to the old man. Maybe it was the early Kabukicho setting and the "man takes abandoned girl in" thing, but I was getting mad Yakuza (as in the game series 龍が如く) vibes from this. That's a good thing for me. I don't care for the sci-fi stuff if it gets too ridiculous, but I'm totally digging the slice of life stuff.

Give the show a chance for its plot and not judge it solely based on CG animation

So, each episode is 44 min long, huh? According to MAL. Not that i have any problem with that, it's first to me.

I am willing to give this show a shot. I am worried about all the points that have already been explained earlier. Regardless, I am curious to see how this show turns out. The potential is definitely there.

Episode 2

And here comes Zouroku's granddaughter Sanae as she's surprised to see another girl. She is quite attached to Sana as she's fascinated by her psychic powers. Those two sure are getting along, and making food isn't something she's cut out to do as evidenced by that gigantic pancake. Sana sure is appreciative of her new life seeing that there was hardly any love in the research facility. But things get out of hand there in the end with Sana teleporting Sanae all over the world, while all those pigs she summoned create trouble. Sanae made a nice introduction there, and then things really got out of hand there at the end.

So far it continues to be pretty good, this time a much lighter atmosphere except for a brief reminiscence of her life at the facility including someone's very bloody demise. But otherwise mostly meeting Zourokus granddaughter .. also pigs, was very nice and fun.

Certainly has me looking forward to the next episode.

Episode 2

Ah, I like that OP song. There's a good degree of creativity poured into it and is catchy.

Sanae and Sana's character chemistry is really cute. I feel like the two can become good friends. Honestly, I thought this episode had much more humor than compared to the first one thanks to Sana's powers.

Shizuku' fun to watch with the business relationship she shares with Ryuu.

Pigs!

I liked episode one it was like a cross between Resident Evil and Rozen Maiden lol. This one it kinda just descended into the same old nonsense "Oh it's a pure hearted schoolgirl who is homely and can cook, so refreshing! Kyaaa! She heals me! Kyaaa!" and endless repetitive jokes about pigs. The flashback was interesting and how she's not 100% in control of her powers she seems to just be able to create whatever she can imagine which turned the research facility into her own personal wonderland. To top off our anime cliches we have the twins who speak as one being and the white haired quiet introvert who is probably very intelligent and likes snacks.

I suppose as this seasons slightly edgy dark magical girl show aimed at older people it's not bad just hoping the next episode does something more than bombarding you with cuteness.

I did a back to back watch for episode 1 and 2. I enjoyed both episodes.

I didn't expect the first episode to be around 40 minutes so while I was watching I said to myself "wow this feels really long". Animation wise it wasn't bad, J.C. Staff isn't the greatest when it comes to action scenes so as of right now it isn't that bad, but I can see it be pretty iffy later on during the season. The CG could be better, it isn't terrible, but I wish it wasn't so blatant and I'm a fan of those random thick outlines.

I like the characters, the story is interesting and I'm wondering how its going to play out.

Why am I even paying for premium if the 1080 encode of this is Medium Quality at best?

Fuzzies around most objects, jagged lines, and color banding problems all throughout.

Ain't no orgy like a pig orgy, am I right...

This was a cute episode, Sana and Sanae had some fun adventures. And according to Mr. Dragon Knight, Zoroku has always had a habit of scolding random kids.

It looks like next episode won't be so happy though, with the apparent return of MC Hands-a-lot.
