Seriously no Idea why people are so pessimistic. There are really good series in my opinion,

- Sakura Quest (not available in my country, thx crunchyroll)
- Re: Creators (not available in my country, thx crunchyroll)
- Love Tyrant
- Grimoire of Zero (not available in my country, thx crunchyroll)
- The eccentric Family 2 (not available in my country, thx crunchyroll)
- Alice and Zouroku

And last but not least: Kado the right answer

What me really annoys is that I still can't watch many great animes on the legal way because of regional licensing. But hey who needs Sakura Quest when you can have censored softporn like the seven mortal sins

Thank Amazon not Crunchyroll. They seem to have worldwide rights to Re:Creators so there's not much Crunchyroll could have done here.

Unless I'm missing something the last time Crunchyroll got a show that they didn't have in the US that wasn't given to them by a local publisher (such as Anonymous Noise by Anime Ltd this season) was Dagashi Kashi back in Winter 2016 so I'd thank Sentai.

I'm from Germany

Didn't know that Re:Creators isn't available at Crunchyroll, my bad. The other blocked shows are all listed but I can't watch them because regional licensing. I know that this isn't really their fault. It just sucks that I pay premium and can't watch some of the best shows the legal way

Grimoire of Zero isn't a Crunchyroll show either. Amazon Strike has the license for the USA and we only get the Noitamina block anime. That's why Re:Creators is available in Germany but not GoZ.

I agree. I'm in Canada so if any show is on Hulu I can't watch it. Even with Sentai's shows on Amazon where we got the first episode of 3 shows a couple dates late then nothing until early May where almost everything they've missed was bulk uploaded (still missed a couple episodes) and none of them have been updated since.

Have you checked German sites for the shows Crunchyroll doesn't have? I saw a couple being linked a while back but I have no idea what they have (or if they even have a free with ads option)

I thought this lineup was one of the better anime lineups in a long time. I normally find 1 anime I enjoy watching, and 2 or 3 just to pass the time. This season i'm really enjoying:

- The King's Avatar
- World End
- Sword Oratoria
- Grimoire of Zero
- My Hero Academia2
- Attack on Titan2

Best season in a long time for me.

When I have time, I'm also watching Berserk2, Granblue, Clockwork Planet, Tsugomomo, Akashic Record, Silver Guardian, and Re:Creators

Its just you. I'm loving a lot this season. I feel bad I'm having to binge to catch up with everyone. This season has a lot to offer.

Sequels aside, Sakura Quest, Kado the Right Answer, and Tsukigakirei seem like they might be good, from what I've heard (I've been back logging). But none of that was really apparent from the charts, to me. But at this point I know not to take even the cut and dry charts to seriously, and keep an eye out for what turns out to be up my ally.

Winter once you discount the sequels seems like it was dryer.

I was going to post what I like but its to much work to type. I have about 13 or so shows im watching that are new or sequels from this season. I think pretty much every season has something to watch for most people unless your really picky. I just watch stuff for fun its the same with movies or tv some poeple just expect to much from stuff. Not everything needs to be some kind of cinema masterpiece.

Winter 2017 was weak. Spring is really good hell it's awesome and far exceeded my expectations.

For me, spring 2017 is better than it seemed at first as a few shows have grown on me but I would still say it's fairly mediocre. Most of the shows I am enjoying this season probably wouldn't stack up all that well if the content surrounding them was better.

As always, it depends on what kind of anime you like.

I have a dozen shows in my queue for this spring and I've never had so many so it's great for me.

I consider it karma because of the utterly crap-tastic winter season that everyone else seemed to think was so great.

the best part of spring is that although it does have a few big sequels, it also has a few hits that really came out of nowhere. Unfortunately 3-4 of them arent available on CR so you have to go to alternative sites for those.
