I seem to have had some very strong emotional pain in these past few months. It hurts me to experience this pain, but I constantly find myself wanting to get hurt again. My thoughts in the situation when they happen are normal, like; stress, pain, confused....etc, but after the experience I seem to have enjoyed it. I'm not too sure if I set up these situations to happen unintentionally, or if I purposely set up situations so I can get hurt. I don't really expect an answer to satisfy me, I just wanted to write down my thoughts and why not share them at that.

It's hard to give you advice if you don't tell us what you're talking about but that's very unhealthy. Consult help maybe?

You seem to understand your situation very well. You like getting hurt because you can feel something.
Maybe just avoid that situations and think all the bad things that could have happen. It should have the same effect.

your saying to stimulate the feeling through thoughts of possibility ? It wouldn't seem very effective for, I don't react to things well, unless done upon me.

Yes, it's like a safe alternative and free to try it. It is hard I know but I have a strong imagination xD.

It's easy for you to say, I don't have a strong imagination. Although that won't stop me from at least trying your alternative.

Maybe you're feeling emotionally detached. If so then why not live life and do something more productive and emotionally positive? For example pick up a sport, meet some girls, make new friends, and/or study something that interests you. You'll enjoy life more if you go out and socialize in a positive way.
