That sounds horrible and very plausible in this type of society.

I love sleeping, so I'd still want my 8 hours and occasional naps.

I don't love sleeping but I sure as heck wouldn't want a longer workday

I'd get a lot of stuff done. Read all the fanfictions I want in a day and still have time to put in for studying, hell yeah.

I would like that, I mean, I could get so much more stuff done, sure it may get boring from time to time but I have trouble sleeping and it kills me throughout the day.

Finish learning how to hack and bring down a religion that needs to be destroyed... Or something. But really, religion is a disease that gives people who fear death a false sense of piece of mind. It's like chronic eighth grader syndrome.

nothing suggests being awake longer means you would have a longer workday

It's plausible just as Nausuada said.

If sleep was unnecessary I could get so much more cleaning done. Plus I'd have tons of extra time to actually start making a dent in my ever-growing 'to-watch' list.

If you've worked long enough for corporations you'd know they'd do it.

I'd probably still try to go to sleep. I mean obviously you'll have more time to do whatever you want, but I like being able to just not think or just relax for a couple of hours.

As someone with very little freetime, this is something I fantasize about far to often.

There's so many things I want to accomplish, or keep up with, that I don't have the time for. Even in my small gap between school and work, when I had all the freetime in the world, I realized there still wasn't enough hours in a day to do everything I wanted to do.

I really dont understand people who enjoy wasting time sleeping, or do it to "pass time"... It seems like such a waste to me. Why would you want to waste time from your already short life? Boredom? The only reason I can see for being bored is a lack of creativity. Especially in this day and age, when gaming and endless information via the internet is a thing.
