New arc begins this week.

That girl with the ring will likely play an important role. I also miss Sumire in this show tbh. Even seeing her in flashbacks gives her importance in this show.

So next week is going to be part 3 of the first arc? Looks like we're going to uncover the mystery of Soma's death earlier than I thought. Since she can see the future, I'm sure that's why her actions changed in the timeline after the reset. The only question is what exactly made her decide to die? She must've been waiting for Kei to do something, which did end up happening after the reset. More importantly, does the Bureau have a way to bring her back to life?

I've been thinking this for a long time, but I don't think it's good that Haruki only resets when Kei tells her to. I feel like that might cause a problem later where she needs to reset but Kei isn't around.

New OP and ED theme this week btw.

Is anyone still watching this show? I've been following it and I can understand why some folks dropped it because the story always feels moody, slowed pacing, and characters seem blend. I got invested into the story though and it's not so bad. Definitely didn't hit my expectations but I think it' still somewhat watchable.

I just started binge-watching. I'm up to episode 6 and just got a peek at an origin story. I like and dislike how stuffed it is with philosophical musings. Really --- for middle school students? Okay now they're in the first year of high school but dang! it's a big gut punch to have to deal with life and death affecting decisions starting in middle school....

As one of maybe 3 people who saw this all the way through, I gotta admit that even though this show is far from amazing and had a rocky start, it got better in the second half and had a satisfying ending. I was a little worried during those first few episodes that this would be a waste of time and I'm still disappointed David Production hasn't announced the next Jojo yet, but in the end I don't regret watching this. The use of abilities at certain times got a little hard to keep track of but I still understood the general idea and enjoyed how they kept combining abilities to accomplish a lot of tasks.

Soma really stood out among the cast. The show got a lot more interesting when it revealed the reason for her death and that she was planning things like 10 steps ahead to deal with a problem that wouldn't occur for another 2 years. The Soma that was revived from the picture may not be the original Soma, but she still has all her feelings and memories and that only made her more of a tragic character. I felt bad for all the things she put herself through just for a guy who she knows can't reciprocate her feelings completely. The amount of hoops she (and Kei) had to jump through to emerge victorious against Urachi and keep Sagrada the same was crazy. It's nice to see that everything worked out, I mean besides Soma getting a bittersweet ending.

Overall, the first half really weighs the series down but Sagrada Reset was still enjoyable enough to leave a positive impression, in my opinion.

I'll catch up soon enough. I was actually really enjoying the show, but I got busy and forgot about it.
