i read a few notes about the planned storyline too and
, that is why I feel abit of pain watching this show and I am holding off until that day comes.

They just took the characters from Naruto and threw them into a blender to swap genders and personalities. Where I think I should be interested in who hooked up with who to create his semi familiar classmates, I'm just not finding them very interesting. Also, so far it's more of the same "making friends" with the people with personality disorders.

Seems they're going to give most of the main supporting characters some spotlight based on the pacing.

Metal Lee is funny, definitely reminds me of Rock Lee a bit.

Great episode focusing on Rock Lee's son Metal. I am glad that the series emphasizes on character spotlight among Boruto's classmates

Well no info on Metal Lee's parents is Rock Lee his dad or just his mentor, maybe we will find out in the manga. I say this Tamari she really takes after her mother - in - law.

Boruto didn't forget don't get Hinamari mad, so he quickly made sure didn't get married when he told her he had to study, and looks like the climax of this arc, Boruto is going to get possessed by the snake thing.

Next week, Boruto vs Sarada battle of the sexes, if this was western animation we know Sarada would win, but this is shonen who knows.

And one thing Class rep is quickly my favorite, she is my wafu, she is so cute and adorable.

im a bit confused with how they are moving with this.

i enjoyed the first episode despite it not following the manga and i like how they are expanding the cast of characters personalities, unlike the manga so far, its actually giving me an idea of who they are. I enjoy the use of color as well, i haven't been impressed with the character designs of shippuden and i think the use of color makes up for it a bit in boruto. i also enjoy that it really does feel like there is a world outside of ninjas. which i didnt feel in the other series

my problems so far is that theres a couple characters that seem like filler characters if u know what i mean. its hard to explain but they remind me of characters that existed in movies and filler episodes before in naruto. the second episode is really making me think that this show i going to be ninja "highschool" which i dont normally enjoy highschool setting animes so im not to happy about it. it seems more like a fanfiction idea instead of a continuation to naruto.

i hope they graduate from the acadamy sooner rather than later because i wished we started a bit earlier in boruto manga wise, mostly because i want to see how the characters interacted with eachother when their teams were first made.

i see a lot of negative feedback for this show. sometimes i wonder if i'm the only one in love with it? there isn't anything i really dislike about it so far, to be honest.

I'm not in love with it; but I personally find it better than how Naruto first started. We don't have to deal with all the melancholy crap due to Naruto's past or Sasuke's "betrayal"; instead everything is a lot more enjoyable and chill. Boruto acts like the kid he is; but at least he is not as obnoxious as kid Naruto was.

So Konohamru is grown up and is kind of an idol.
Shikadia says "women are a pain", you say that to your mother, I dare you to say that to her face. Tamara is right, Shikamaru needs to teach that boy some manners.

So Class rep mvp of the episode for the win. Tell me I am not the only one who she and Metal Lee would a cute couple.

So Boruto and Sarada at each other's throats, to think they come such a long way by the time we get to the Boruto movie, heck even the Gaiden manga they relationship has develop some what.

Mitsuki is he behind these snake attacks, I guess we will find out.

I'm not surprised by the negative feedback, but for me it's been mainly just fun to watch without taking it all to seriously.

You're definitely not alone. I've been enjoying Boruto very much every week. I think it's had a pretty good start so far introducing all the new characters and such. And I can't wait to see where it goes from here.

I think most of the problem with the show is that it's just a repeat of what has already been done. The characters are children of the previous characters sharing similar traits and the story is progressing in a similar way so it's a case of "same old, same old" while not terrible it's not very exciting either.

It's a watchable show and I imagine Naruto fans are happy to see more but I think the only ones who will find this show amazing are the Naruo/Sasuke shippers because there is now a way for their blood to get together without them hooking up lol.
