I usually like fanservice, but I hope the show does a better job at integrating it. Here it just felt a little too weird. (Why does a robot have saliva?)

Yeah it was like watching Mysterious Girlfriend X again.

This show was not what I was expecting so many genres were thrown out there I'm not sure which this was trying to be.

Was wondering how they keep this 'clockwork' planet greased, and it turns out to be lady fluids. Of course.

Between the man who can hear time and the shrew, only the chronographic crank seems to be likeable.

So, why does a robot that's evidently made for combat have huge boobs? (Answer: Because the target audience is teenage boys.)

It does seem that they're throwing away a good steampunk story for just a bunch of fanservice scenes with clocks and gears.

I'll give it another episode or two. The manga sounds good, though. Wonder if it's available in English. I'll have to go look for it.

Probably, maybe.

Also, why wouldn't a robot built for combat have big boobs when it was built by a guy?

I asked first.

Wasn't this robot built by some organization like the military or somebody(I didn't quite follow that part of the plot) and not some guy in a workshop? Then again, maybe it was built by some guy. I'll have to watch the episode again.

As I recall, RyuZU was referred to as a 'historic' clockwork. She refers to herself as being model 1 of a series of clockwork automatons built by Y, the guy who built the planet when it wound down a thousand years before.

I hoped I would like this more. Rather than having any kind of hard sci-fi/steampunk, we are instead treated to "The adventures of some shota and his robot onee-san waifu," which isn't really that bad at the end of the day. I'll give it another episode.

Still not as cool as the poster made it seem though.

Ep 1

I can't help but feel that this first episode was a let down. The fanservice, while not inherently a bad thing, felt way too forced and out of place here. The humor wasn't much better either in my opinion. Fortunately RyuZu is cool, and the clockwork motif is a personal favorite of mine. I've read a little bit of the manga so I'm definitely sticking around. The OP was nice, probably one of my favorites of the season.

This was disappointingly bad. I was hoping for the sake of the worldbuilding premise that it would be good. (Planet Earth entirely replaced by near infinite gears? That sounds so awesome.) Alas, the MC was annoying and that over the top fanservice moment completely turned me off. Also nothing interesting actually happened. Not going to keep this one.

Episode 2

Heh, new transfer student....RyuZU looks good in her school outfit.

Episode was okay (storytelling quality wise, it's still bad) but I'm still not getting into the mood of the story much yet. Granted, Marie snapped and showed a more fragile side of her. I honestly want to know more about Marie as this show progresses.

I hope Marie will okay from now on as she is a determined girl.
That destined encounter with RyuZU at the trains station though.

Is it just me or was this entire episode nothing but references for FanArt and Body Pillows?
