Your doing all wrong! You supposed to propose in the last eps not one quarter of the way in!

Some fighting and stuff and Ryuzu shows up her super mode

Need more Maire and her badass cyborg bodyguard.

They missed an excellent opportunity not cutting off Marie's head. It's nice they don't seem to take any of this seriously.

I have no idea what the team behind the anime were thinking. They take a really interesting premise, and yet somehow pile on every anime trope in the worst way possible and ruin it. Sometimes to the point downright caricature. I have no idea what the original LN was like, but I can't help imagining a far more original LN being given to a team tired old hacks who "improve" it to what they believe is what works in anime. Maybe I'm wrong and the LN is as awful and cliché as the anime, and the worst that the studio can be accused of is the poor taste of choosing a tropey LN.

I agree with the views of most people saying this anime is circling the drain with horrendous tropes and awful fanservice BS.

What surprised the hell out of me was on episode 3 that Ryuzu's special power "imaginary time" is actually not utterly contrived bullshit (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Imaginary_time). It actually is something that physicists use, and at least according to Steven Hawking, objects in this time would follow normal physics (Search for imaginary time here http://www.hawking.org.uk/the-beginning-of-time.html). I guess it goes to show you that there's actually some thought that was put into the original concept that later got mired in bullshit in order to give Japanese teenage boys better masturbation material.

Clockwork Planet EP 1 "Gear of Destiny" / EP 2 "Purge" / EP 3 "Conflict"

Being a gearhead growing op with muscle cars / helping a race team this is cool also has that older anime sci-fi feel which I enjoy so much Throw in some fanservice and I like it The details are really good!

I have seen a few complaints about all the gears / I guess people dont what it's like to actually take things apart ( for the most part ) and are all techies ( In a way it's kinda sad )

Even appliance it's pull / replace / even cars .

EP 2 "Purge"

Even though it slow the story is just great. A Love story w/o added junk!

Now I understand the older anime feel Xebec did a lot of anime I liked

EP 3 "Conflict"

THE start was interesting As outlandish as this it it has great punchlines !
Also still has a lot of sci-fi in it

RyuZU is great some great lines ! Halter is OP too.

Marie has to play 2nd to Naoto. And we have RyuZU 's younger sister coming up! It's going to fer really interesting

There are some great lines in SPRING

If I was to pick a theme song

Episode 4

Naoto's sense of hearing saves the day finding all the anomalies just by hearing, while Marie puts on a show in making those repairs. But even so, things take an unexpected turn when the purge happens ahead of schedule, and to save the city RyuZU has to be sacrificed to reverse the gravity. So that Naoto's emotion doesn't get in the way, RyuZU takes out her heart and with Marie's expert craftsmanship, the city is saved and RyuZU is back. Well, that was anticlimactic there, but in the end everybody did what they had to do. Pretty underwhelming how things were resolved to say the least.

I really, really, hope they can stick it to the army and the guy in the suit. Seriously he needs to get smacked upside the head.

Naoto's godly hearing is interesting but his attraction to anything with a gear in it is seriously hindering his thinking. Apparently the "life" of his robot girlfriend is more important than saving 20 million people, even if she has a chance of coming back. RyuZU is still carrying this show for me. Look at that pout!

By a strange coincidence, Akane from Renai Boukun made the same face in today's episode.
