I wasn't sure at first, but after watching the first two episodes, its pretty darn good. Its good paced and looks interesting. I'm looking forward to see how rest of the anime plays out.

Hi everyone, glad you all are excited about this show and really digging it. However, any posting of, asking for, or suggesting places to find RAW's, fansubs, fan translations of the manga, mahua, or light novels, etc etc etc.... is 100% against Crunchyroll Forum rules.

If you want to talk about the light novels, or the episodes, all good. But do not share any non legal source, or even discuss where to find such material in any way.

Thank you.

Hey all,

Being an avid esports fan myself I was very excited when this anime adaptation was announced, but also a little bit disappointed when I noticed that Crunchyroll didn't pick it up. I personally think this is the hidden gem of the anime season.

Actually the publisher has already licences the fan translation and there are official subs on Tencent youtube channel. The official website is called webnovel.com and is run by Qidian International. Also the nice guys at Qidian has allowed the fan translator to keep translating on their own site still! Moreover one can watch the raws on Bangumi.BiliBili and if one is subscribed to them, they have access to the VIP episode and by this time is the fourth one.

I enjoyed it, wasn't expecting much but the spoken language is harsh on the ears and I am not trying to be offensive, don't watch a lot of animated shows form China. Sound for action helps during the scene when reading the subtitles, but the spoken language sounded like every word ended with a hiss, not used to it.

Having studied Chinese (but was rather bad at it) I'm "used" to the way it sounds. Even so, growing up moving around the world quite a bit, I was always bumping into languages that sounded odd on the ear, to the point that it didn't become an issue. I'm sure any of those languages that sounded odd would have become familiar sounding or even started to make sense if I had stayed around. All this goes to prove is that you have never heard much Chinese before, and maybe it's about time. Besides it's such a good anime, one of the best if not the best of the season.

That's all well and good, but what about all the other things linked to and shared on those sites not made by the creator of this one show? Do those creators also allow the sharing and fan translating of episodes and novels for free? No? Exactly.

If you want to link an official source, that's fine, do not share or even discuss any fan sub related links. It doesn't matter if the creator of this one show doesn't mind their show being fan subbed. Most creators most definitely do mind, and as a legal site for anime and manga Crunchyroll minds too.

the comments from the site I'm watching it on have the same tone as your complaint. Unless your native language is japanese, I'm sure it was a bit of an adjustment the first time you saw japanese anime as well. Try not to let the language get in the way of an expertly written and animated show. To be honest, I feel like this, Grimoire zero, and Sword Oratoria are the big missing anime's this season for most anime viewers since they aren't on Crunchyroll and nothing has really been circulating about them.

Feels good to know that I will never have this problem because I am Chinese.

Two best lines more newbies wtf and two female players they always are weak never a master status player. This animation makes the game feel real but same time when game isn't playing we see the players personality. My only comment is how do they stay in shape and look great with no sleep or exercise. I saw a weight room in the back ground of pros home base but I kinda chuckled to my self. Where are the fat acne faced guys who play all day?

I like it. For some reason the main character reminds me of Ip Man played by Donnie Yen, which I liked those movies too.
