Synopsis

The "new sibling romantic comedy" revolves around Masamune Izumi, a light novel author in high school. Masamune's little sister is Sagiri, a shut-in girl who hasn't left her room for an entire year. She even forces her brother to make and bring her meals when she stomps the floor. Masamune wants his sister to leave her room, because the two of them are each other's only family.

Masamune's novel illustrator, pen name "Eromanga," draws extremely perverted drawings, and is very reliable. Masamune had never met his illustrator, and figured he was just a disgusting, perverted otaku. However, the truth is revealed... that his "Eromanga-sensei" is his own younger sister! To add to the chaos that erupts between the siblings, a beautiful, female, best-selling shoujo manga creator becomes their rival!

The first episode was just pure comedy as we are treated to yet another Oreimo magic. Fun show that will definitely keep me engaged the entire season

Hopefully it does not go Oreimo. Oreimo was a bit too banal in the first season, before descending into melodramatic madness in the second where feelings were not enunciated enough for me to determine what the hell was going on.

I'm hoping that this ends up more like the first season of Oreimo than the second as Kyosuke was such a great and likable big bro in the first season, but a total shithead in the second season. Should be a fun ride at the very least.

That's typical for Crunchyroll these days when it comes to premieres. But nevertheless, the first episode is now out.

Episode 1

This show is letting everybody know that it's by the same person who did Oreimo. Imouto has a secret, but this time so does Onii as Masamune is a LN author, while Sagiri is the erotic mangaka known as Eromanga-sensei, which Masamune figures out because of the tray of food in her room. Pretty fun stuff so far, but the real test is ahead that will determine how things will fare moving forward. It could be great like the first season, but it could also crash and burn as Oreimo did in the second season.

Don't you know? Guardians get in the way of imoutos and onii chans loving each other! It must be done.

Though a lot of absentee guardians is a common trope, especially prominent in harems that want to have a "live in" situation occur. Imagine, an onii chan and an imouto live together, and except for meager trips to the convenience stores, keep to themselves, all alone by each other, isolated from the world each and every night. Soon, they develop latent sexual desires, without knowing it. These desires awaken once an onii chan or an imouto experience their sibling in a state of undress, preferably going into the shower too early, or dropping a force and looking at their onii chan's crotch. Then, after trying to suppress their desires, the other sibling discovers it, and within the heat of the moment, they confess, followed by the throes of imoutoriffic loving, which they keep secret from the world, until someone discovers it!

OMG, THIS STORY WRITES ITSELF. IMOUTOS ARE THE BEST!
