Ugh. I can't say that was a completely unpleasant experience, as I'm going to give it a couple more episodes and not drop it right now, since I really can't tell what direction this is going or what the tone of future episodes will be, and there seems to be a possibility it will become more palatable.

But there was lots I did not enjoy in this first episode, and I also found it somewhat tedious. That 24 minutes felt like so very much longer while I was sitting her thinking "end please" and having to pause to verify it wasn't a double episode.

I've been thinking to ask this for awhile but if you could, please briefly describe the feelings you experienced the first time you watched KissxSis.

I'm sorry but I can't watch this, I can only Japan so much. Also I don't like manga / light novel anime's where they write and make them. However they dress it up to look different.

I admit this anime seems really interesting on how the brother and sister relationship will evolve over time into something neat but, still. I'm going to give it a couple more episodes and not drop it right now, since I really can't tell what direction this is going or what the tone of future episodes.

It would be interesting if Eromanga was a light novel. Then it could be the same story, but ends with the Brother x Sister pairing, and the protagonist turning out to be the author, whose begins working on a light novel based on his life experiences as Eromanga Sensei, which would be about...

LOL? What? Sure I guess, I don't read light novels or manga either. Just pure anime watcher, I used to read manga as a kid but not anymore.

Also this anime dosen't make any sense either, what about child labor laws with creating and drawing those light novels? Did Sagiri even go to school? Their is TOO many wtf factors as well in this anime why It rubs me the wrong way. I know its a fake cartoon anime but seriously, never leaves the room? Impossible.

Eh.. another weird one for me. There were elements to it that I enjoyed and found legitimately funny. The art was also pretty nice. But whenever it started getting into creepy Imoto territory I just felt creeped out and dirty as opposed to entertained. This could be a fun and even emotional story without going "there" but it's going "there" and I don't really want to go there with it. I'll probably give it another episode or two to see just how far it keeps pushing things but I really doubt I'll be around for the long term.

The author does not have a good track record, but I feel that some may interpret the lack of real blood relation as another technicality to excuse any romance, while the anime would be far more interesting if it explores the concept of family. After all, why would the protagonist feed and care for someone who he barely knows, and who rarely helps him out? The blood relation is not there, but by marriage. What exactly defines them as a family, whose only share are by marriage at this point?

In any case, the author will most likely ruin it. Protagonist confessed in a later novel to Sagiri, but she rejected him. Not sure of the context in that regard. May be familial, as it was early, and the introduction went over the fact that neither Sagiri or Masamune have any idea of the ties that bind them, and Sagiri was unsatisfied with his answer of cohabitation being a factor.

Looks pretty fun and weird. The character art and animation are pretty good. Felt some relief when Masamune averted that potential live-stream crisis. Will definitely continue this series.

Also, a moment of silence for all the anime parents who passed before their time.

Interesting information there. Thanks for sharing it.

For me, it wasn't even just the familial relation issue. For what it's worth, I LOVE Citrus and it deals with a love story involving two step sisters. In Citrus, though, the characters are older and the story is told in a much less creepy way. Here we had camera pans, close ups, blushing, etc. that felt blatantly designed to push Sagiri as an object of sexual interest as well as the stereotypical imoto. That's just not my thing and I felt it kept getting in the way of the story the show was also trying to tell.

It better just be one moment for all of them because if we had one moment for each we'd be going to be silent for a VERY long time.

Ah, so when you meant imoto, you meant the younger part. I have no problem with incest is general.
