Apparently Sakura Quest doesnt want to load at all on my Roku,dont know why.contacting support but im posting it here just in case

Same issue. loads the first few seconds then tries again and can't load anymore. trying to start from in the middle of the episode doesn't help either.

It plays the first few second of the opening,show the logo and then it start loading forever?

I have a TCL 55US57 4K Roku HDTV and I am experiencing this selfsame issue. I contacted CR support directly and all they did was to send me on a Tier 1 troubleshooting wild goose chase. I am going to request to be contacted by a supervisor next.

Edit: I have sent a request to be contacted by a supervisor/manager with the power to have the programming department review and fix the obvious encoding issue with Sakura Quest, Ep. 1.

I reported it at about the same time, but got the canned Tier one reply. The problem with that is, I have over four decades of experience in electronics (thanks to the US Navy,) television and video production, and technical troubleshooting with DirecTV. I told them this cannot be a authorization issue since it is so widespread--the focal point of the trouble falls back to the video encoding itself.

would be nice if there wasn't so many god damn issues with crunchyroll and roku TV's as of late, its not just sakura quest but yeah this sucks too

I dont have any problems except for SQ,but it's true that the Roku app seems really unstable lately.

So, I'm not alone in having nothing but trouble watching Sakura Quest. I have a Roku 4, and get about ten seconds worth of the opening theme before the screen goes blank. For whatever it's worth, SQ is simulcasting on Funimation and it won't load there either.

Exact same issue except that the screens goes to loading at 10 second instead.

I reported the same issue on Sakura Quest with my Roku Ultra. Eventually they pushed my ticket up to level 2 support, haven't heard anything from them since then. That was on 4/13, so 7 days ago as of this message posting.
